Great little place to stop and get a snack or a hot sandwich. Recommend the sausage roll or bacon roll. Breakfast in a box is excellent too.
The girls are always friendly and happy.
And the prices won’t break the bank.
Very nice lay-by area. Here they have a cafe that serves all range of breakfast meals including square sausage and black pudding. Toilet facilities are very clean. Dog walking area also. Have knocked a star off because they do not serve hash browns with their breakfast items. All in all very friendly staff. Would recommend.

Convenient place to stop with toilets and a snack bar with fair prices. Food is excellent as is the tea. Layby spoilt somewhat like so many in the UK and abroad due to the smell of urine.
A perfect stop off! Plenty of parking. Great menu at competitive prices. We use it every single time we go up North. Being from Yorkshire it's a perfect 1st break stop for Scotland n the Highlands plus its out of the massive lay-by, (Layby suitable for many cars n easy for HGVs too!!). Left n ur back on the road.
Been stopping of here for years nothing fancy good selection of food and hot drinks toilets are resnable got loads of park benches to sit out at

Great for a breakfast butty. Sausage, bacon, black pudding and egg. Was lovely although the brown sauce is watery nonsense. Splash out on some HP.
Just used the lay-by for our break to have our tea and sandwiches, the cafe looked busy when we drove past.
It is a good long lay by plenty of spaces.
Always a great stop, food always tasty and prices reasonable. A must if travelling on the A66.

The water at the end of the drought!!! After driving for over two hours and no brekkie this popped up!! Great place. It does what it says on the tin 👍🏽 bacon and sausage on toast - fresh and hot.

Great breakfast stop on the way to the Lakes. Nice bacon roll and a cheeseburger with 2 coffees all in at £9-50. Food is always good, well worth the wait as busy most of the time.
