Went for a roast. Well worth it. The place was warm and friendly with a great atmosphere. There's also a big garden to sit in should the weather be suitable. It's also on the mineral tramway so a serious distraction to completing the coast to coast! Call in!

Sam and Dean run a really lovely pub, and are very friendly and welcoming, as are their regulars! Had a delicious steak and chips and a few pints of very well looked after local beer. The pub is really full of community spirit too, from charity raffles to gigs, poker and karaoke. Well worth a visit,
