bloody marvellous, just how pubs used to be. reasonable priced honest food and beer, lots of it 4+ real ales on tap. it was very busy on Sat 16th September, but had a nice friendly vibe
Food was great, atmosphere was really good and the service from the guys behind the bar was friendly and very welcoming. If your looking for a good traditional pub, this is your place
Excellent service and excellent food really enjoyed it .Good value for money
Popped in to eat after a walk around the village with the kids and we were very pleasantly surprised. It has a very relaxed feel and friendly staff. There was a great selection of food, including lots of veggie options and we all really enjoyed our meals. We saw that they have quizzes and live music
I got in slightly later than planned, and wanted a meal, I found that the kitchen was closed, but scot the landlord very kindly did me a pizza. A great place. đź‘Ť
Lovely pub, great food, very friendly staff and owners. Pub is almost 500 years old and very characterful. Choice of ales was great. Highly recommended
Good food.. Gravel car park. Comfortable surroundings with log fire. Loved their bangers and mash.
The overall vibe of the pub I loved, the 2 bikes as you come in through the door were incredibly cool. But I need to rave about the food because it was AMAZING. I had the buttermilk chicken burger and it was probably the best chicken burger I've had, and I'm not going to lie, I love food *pats belly
Called in for a pint but had three as the larger was nice and cold so stayed for food which was good the chips were nice but not enough
Called in last week for a midweek meal & drink, wasn’t disappointed, staff were friendly, as were the locals , food was good , howling wolf ale was even better
