Great place to enjoy a good meal and a friendly atmosphere. Two amazing employees run an entire establishment but offer impeccable service and big smiles.

We have been enjoying meals at the Sutton Arms for over 20 years . Our birthdays are just 2 days apart, so we went online and booked a table. The booking process was easy, and you can choose how long you will need the table for. We were greeted and lead to our table, and the menus were already on the table. The staff were lovely, and very attentive, despite the fact that the restaurant was very busy, and electronic till system was playing up !! My wife ordered the horseshoe gammon, and I ordered the rump steak with Stilton sauce, both meals were cooked to perfection, and were absolutely delicious! My wife finished the night with a hot chocolate, with cream and marshmallows, which was huge !! We really enjoyed our night, and we will definitely be calling in for some more lovely food soon. Thank The Sutton Arms for a lovely night, and very tasty food !

Visited today (19th) was absolutely lovely - food was served piping hot even though we was a group of 8 & it was super busy🙂 Nicola went above and beyond for us as group x Everyone commented on how lovely the food was, I look forward to visits even when they're few & far between😋. Never leave disappointed x My steak was absolutely lovely - no one does it quite right like here! Can't wait to return again in the new year x

Lovely quirky country pub. Excellent friendly service. Food was superb and plentiful. Personally loved the steak and ale pie which was packed full of meat with a lovely crisp pastry topping (and the all important soggy, but not stodgy, underbelly). Will definitely visit again.

Thanks very much to the staff of the Sutton Arms who all looked after our 93 year-old lady and her family with charm and attentiveness. All the meals were fresh and tasty. The puddings went down well too. Very quick service when drinks were ordered from our table even though it was quite busy with customers at teatime on Saturday. Good prices for drinks. Meal prices seemed top end but probably worth it for the consistently good food standard. A 5 star experience but for the toilet smells some of the guests noticed in the lounge and bar. Possibly some improvement in ventilation required. The Gents could use some TLC around the tiling. The water on the floor could possibly be avoided by placing the drier next to the wash basin. 🙏Thanks again to the all the lovely and hardworking staff! 😍👍

This is a great little pub and nice setting for a relaxed meal. We played a round of golf at the nearby Forest Pines and decided to give this place a visit. Only 10 minutes down the road from the course (left out of the main gate) Aspall cyder, craft beers, great start! Served by Pippa, another plus, lovely young girl with a great personality. The meals we had were spot-on, well presented and tasty, compliments to the chef. Worth every penny and a great choice of menu. Apparently the homemade pies are legendary, next time! We will definitely call again on our next visit to the area.
