Was ment to have a nice view from room and ended up with the car park. No toilet roll in the room when we booked in so had to ask for some. Room was lovely and clean with a huge tv. Bar staff was lovely and very welcoming. Love the 10% off for been a guest.
The pub is really friendly and serves a great pint. I especially like it when the weather allows the smoking area. The bar staff always seem very happy to make me feel welcome and calm. It's a regular place for me now

Bathroom could do with being modernised but functional and clean.
Opposite the train station and a 5 min walk into town. Good location.

Large rooms with comfortable beds, tidy and clean. Some of the rooms are renovated in really nice colours and tiles. Love the small, englishy entrance 🤩 The kids was pleased with good TV and quiet room at night 😀 As an Norwegian we really dont understand the tap system with seperately hot and cold
We called For a drink before going to the theatre for the first time and found a wonderful welcome, very open and warm, lots of memorabilia particularly about Charles Laughton, who was born there, lovely atmosphere, recently refurbished and also dog-friendly too, we will definitely be back.
Stayed last night in room 15. I say room it was huge could of fit 5 adults in it...very clean very quiet and located very close to town centre and the local weather spoons so breakfast was easy. But also just enough away from the shops that it was almost silent. We had a sea view and the parking was

The Victoria Hotel has had a proper revamp. The bar is comfy and well decorated. The station has a pub to be proud of again.

Stayed here a few times now. Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms clean. Food very good. Has a giggle factor as some rooms seem to have a slant. But it adds to the character. Disco and party do take place here but again fun for all.
