I come here all the time with my partner. Service is always brilliant, I cannot praise the staff enough on how hard they work - even under pressure they are all amazing. The food is always hot and tasty, the only problem is deciding what to eat! There’s a massive choice on the menu and even if you would like something that might not be on there, just ask! We will continue to use this pub. Well done Rosette �

There food was amazing the size of meal for prices was was 10/10 it fresh the staff was really friendly and helpful and i saw one the staff stand there polish the knifes and folks in the right so they go extra to better money well spent and kids food is good for prieces we will spending alot here in summer thank you x

Lovely family meal yesterday from the new menu excellent value for the money and the staff very professional and attentive.
Been twice this week always pop in when I visit as I have family in Newby. Food was really nice. Last night went to the quiz which was free to enter and a great laugh. Would defiantly recommend this pub especially now it’s had a refurb it’s a nice reasonably priced venue. �
We have just had two 5oz rump steak meals which were both delicious and cooked to perfection. Coupled with a bottle of red wine the bill for £20 was a snip.
The girl who served us, called Maria, was very attentive. She had good eye contact with us and she also had a lovely smile. We were also impressed at how quickly she cleared the tables, after people had left, ready for new customers to use straight away. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely go back.
Loverly place I've been a few time with my OH and with my kids and the staff are so friendly and the food is great and really great prices :)

Not visited for years. Good efficient service. Hubby loved his mixed grill. My chilli was really tasty. Had the mix of 3 different desserts. All delicious. Really pleased. Saw member of staff polishing cutlery. Will return
Manager was very friendly and professional. Delivery of certain items of food meant he had to reel off everytime what people couldn't have. But he was courteous and efficient. Food was fantastic.
My friend and I called in on the off chance they were serving food. We both ordered sizzling Chinese-style pork belly. Oh my word, what a beautiful meal it was. 3 sizzling belly pork strips, stir fried veg and chips. It was absolutely delicious. Staff were very friendly and attentive, giving advice on the menu and seeing we had everything we needed. We will certainly be returning to try more of their very varied menu.

Greeted warmly by a young gentleman called Max. Before ordering he advised us there would be a delay up to an hour. Thought this was excellent customer service to give us the option to try somewhere else. We ordered the rump steak and chips. Arrived in 35 minutes. Was cooked just as we asked and tasted delicious. Max asked us if we were enjoying it and was a delightful host. Will definitely go back
We ate here whilst on holiday for the week. The food was definitely sizzling when it came out and the Grilled Chicken, Veggies & Chips were fantastic. Very tasty!
Bar Staff were very friendly. However unfortunately we waited over 40minutes for our food(along with others) in a pub that wasn't particularly busy when we first ordered.
Food was delicious and you get your monies worth, great for couple, family and groups.
This pub has really improved since last time we were in, where food was slow and pub very tired. This time food was quick, excellent value for money, manager pleasant, friendly and helpful and the premises much cleaner with a good atmosphere. Garden looked clean and tidy. Will definitely come back again.

What a brilliant place. This was our first visit to this gastro pub. We have had really mixed experiences at other Sizzling and M&B pub, some horrific... so we were a bit apprehensive.... we needn't have been!
Our server (might have been called Zoe) was lovely. The whole place was CLEAN, smart, well laid out, warm and welcoming. All the staff we came across were friendly and professional, but the most important thing was that all the customers were happy and pleased with the service and quality.
Our meals were excellent, the 14oz Gammon and double Hunters Chicken were both 10/10 so chef is obviously excellent at his/her job, the service was quick and efficient. The starter Chicken goujons for 2 was a bit skimpy or a bit pricey (I think) about £8.50 for 6 bits of battered chicken, but the temperature and quality was excellent.
We will definitely be going back REGULARLY as we eat out a couple of times a week and this is looking like our new favourite. If only all Sizzling's were this well managed, some other places could learn A LOT from the people running The Rosette. I just hope the standards weren't a one-off, if they can keep it up we will become their new regulars. As a local taxi driver I love to recommend to my customers what I personally like and The Rosette hits the mark.

Caters for all - kids welcome / pets welcome - also various areas if you wanted to escape kids and pets. Great to meat the new (12 months ish) manager today. Someone who wants customers to be happy. If you haven’t been in the last 12 months, go visit - definitely a much better place. Had been avoiding due to previous poor experiences, and was pleasantly surprised today to see the improvement!

Staff couldn't do enough for you, especially the young man at the bar on Monday eve. Great play area outside to entertain kids. Food was reasonably priced and worked out cheap with the kids eat for £1 offer. We had mains, drinks and puds for 5 and spent less than £50 👍
