Came here with my husband and daughter for an evening meal on our short break to Scarborough and wasn't disappointed. Lovely place, lovely food, friendly and helpful staff, cheap drinks (cheaper than back home anyway!) Would definitely recommend
Our first visit, we sat on the beer terrace at the back which was very nice, lots of seating with some under shelter. It could do with a bit of a spruce up but to be fare it had rained a lot the night before so looked a bit battered. However the food we had was delicious, large portions and very reasonably prices. It was very busy with people eating so that says a lot. We will definitely go back for food next time.

Ate there last night, food was brilliant and very high quality. The staff were great, very informative, helpful and extremely polite. Great atmosphere, really good prices and the music was superb. No guessing where we will revisit when we are next in Scarborough!!

Food absolutely fantastic. I had cacun chicken ciabatta my husband steak and cheese ciabatta both lots of filling steak and chicken cooked lovely, love the triple cooked chips. Great place

This latest visit we ordered food as a group.
The order was slightly wrong but the staff were simply amazing sorting things out.
We all agreed the food is the best we have had at any Scarborough establishment.
A repeat visit is on the cards during my next 16 day holiday.

Had a good solid what expected Sunday lunch (veggie sausages offered as alternative to meat 👍🏻) would have. Liked to have seen more potato on plate to fill up, 4 tiny roasties. Lovely decor though, both inside and outside. Def. looks amazing. If white led lighting is an issue for your eyes, then this is only reason to avoid.
Really good food. Ordered from the 2 for £16 section of the menu I had the Chilli and rice with cheese topped nachos and my wife had scampi and chips. Both meals were delicious. There was a little wait, but it was busy, the food still arrived hot and well worth the money.
Accidentally walked into this place thinking it was the brewers fayre next door, it's a good job we did too, got a nice seat outside and the food was excellent. Worth a visit if you're looking for good pub food in the area and don't want to go for a chain pub.
Great food a little too much for me but that not a complaint I'm just little over 55 and cant eat so much these days lol A little quiet but that's probably because it's on a Tuesday. Very enjoyable . Little upset there wasn't any Steaks on the menu but my partner chose hunters chicken which was very good .
Really nice place, lovely decor, the beer garden was lovely sunny spots and shaded spots both catered for, the food we had, tuna melt and a steak melt were both really nice, chips were delicious. Very reasonably priced 👍
It is the best pub in Scarborough. We drive 70 miles for their fantastic food. Never falters. Thankyou.
Visited last week with friend, was pre warned upto hour wait on food, this wasn't to much of an issue as sun was shining so we enjoyed the sunny weather, and few drinks, the prawn cocktail was presented beautifully.
I am a fussy eater won't eat tomatoes or cucumbers. So asked for peppers and onions with it instead 😋

4 of us walked in for an unplanned meal. Service was excellent. We ordered four different meals and they all came out at the same time piping hot. Honestly one of the best meals I have had in Scarborough. Highly recommend and would give 6 stars if I could.
Spotted on an evening walk round welcomed dog's so we gave it a try. Perfect choice plenty of outside seating in the courtyard. Great food big portions very helpful and friendly staff
We received a warm welcome from the bar staff who were helpful and smiley. We ordered food for 5 people that arrived hot and cooked to perfection. The chicken fajitas arrived at the table sizzling as good as any Mexican restaurant. The steak was cooked exactly as asked for and all salad ingredients were fresh and crisp. Good size portions and great value for money. We look forward to our next visit.

Great bar. Visit it every time we go to Scarborough. Summer time it has a sun trap garden. Food is good.
