Family of 6 visited last night. 4 of us had fish and chips and they were spot on! 1 had a gourmet burger and that was lovely then there was a child's fish finger, well you can't go wrong with fish fingers and chips.
Would 100% recommend this place
I visited The Coffee Bean and had a 3 course sunday roast. I took my 2 children aged 16months and 6 with me. staff was amazing with the children and the food was top notch 10/10 lovely place for food or even just for a tea or coffee. Very friendly staff. Would recomend to anybody to go give it a try.
We walk past this place every day for years and we thought let's go try it and so pleased we did! Amazing breakfasts reasonable price and quality food. Tried Sunday lunch 3 courses for £7.95 and again quality food we have already booked in for next Sunday no point cooking at home for that price!!

We've been coming here for years now. Can't fault the place. Always clean, good food, good service and reasonably priced. It's a must when in Scarborough x
Had the whitebait for starter, just enough it was lovely with fresh salad lovely and crispy..followed by the seabass which was gorgeous, would recommend.
We called in this morning and enjoyed a great English breakfast, good quality food cooked perfectly and excellent value for money. Great service and the homemade bread is delicious. We’ll be coming back!
Great welcome from stepping through the door, even though the waiters & waitresses were dealing with lots of covers.
We were served as soon as we sat with our drinks and relatively quickly with our meals; which were delicious.
I had lasagne, chips & side saddle...DELICIOUS!
Hubby had a mixed grill which look scrumptious.
All in all we had a very enjoyable visit. Thank you
Great staff with excellent service, food was fantastic. Highly recommended

Love Dave and Sandra ,thanks
Can't recommend this place more! Found by accident as we were staying nearby. Naively didn't think to book a table but luckily they had some seats at their breakfast bar to squeeze us in. So glad they did!
The bar is well stocked with local real ales which my husband said were all lovely.
He had brisket, wings and a sausage and said they were all amazing. I had THE best burger I've ever had, and I've had a lot of burgers! It was unreal, there aren't enough words to describe how delicious it was.
The staff are absolutely lovely and attentive.
There is also a wide selection of board games available.
Been wanting to come here for ages so soon as I got up here I headed straight to there. I was not disappointed
Staff are so lovely/chatty and helpful. Food was amazing and big portions. Definitely be back and recommended them to everyone i know.
We found The Hideout and Google maps and it ticketed all the boxes for what everyone wanted. All the staff were accommodating for our needs and friendly. We ordered a variety of different meals from the menus from half rack of ribs, pizzas, chicken gyros burgers plus extra sides. All were delicious and not a bad word to say about the food. It seemed reasonably priced especially for the portion sizes. The ribs looked the best meal…the size of them was something else. I had my hopes set on a desert but just couldn’t fit any more in.
I would definitely recommend and would visit again when in the area.
The Hideout was our planned meet-up location as a group of friends, and it definitely lived up to expectations.
Firstly, the overall atmosphere of the Hideout is great! Very casual place with a beach-bar vibe, relaxed music that’s not overbearing, and plenty of memorabilia dotted around. It really does feel like you’re somewhere other than on a typical Scarborough street!
Secondly, the food is quite tasty. Prices are relatively decent given the popularity of this seaside town, especially for the Garlic Bread which is a huge homemade affair! Our only quibble was with the BBQ pulled pork, which whilst tasty, could have used being a stronger flavour. Overall though, we were quite happy with our meal.
Finally, the service at the Hideout was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, without being overly invasive or pushy, and served us in a timely fashion. They were clearly happy working together, and enjoyed doing their jobs.
Definitely worth a visit and we will certainly be back in the future!
Lovely Friendly Staff. Great atmosphere. Dog Friendly &
also served snacks for them XX
Super chilled atmosphere with a great playlist. Yummy food and delicious 'nduja. Big portions so leave lots of room!!
Me and my dad have just eaten here and I can't recommend it enough! We had just left another restaurant after the staff had a attitude with us as soon as we walked through the door. As you can imagine we were in bit of a bad mood, but this place completely turned that mood around for us. The staff were so friendly and the food 😍 it was delicious and the portions were far from small. I wish I had more room as the brownies on display near our table were VERY tempting. Thank you to the staff for making our night a lot better! I wish you guys could show the other place how to treat customers!! Will definitely be back when we are next in town and recommending you to anyone who will be visiting 😊
If one craves slow cooked meats, burgers and pizzas, this is the place to go. On a break to Scarborough and staying just up the road from The Hideout, we thought we'd give it a try, and we are so glad we did. The cafe bar has interesting decor, eclectic background music which isn't intrusive, and a lovely friendly atmosphere. We were warmly greeted and served by a very pleasant young woman, who remained attentive throughout. The food and drink menu is extensive. I had the Mac'n' Cheese Burger and my wife had the Pulled Brisket Tray. The meat in both meals was succulent and tasty. The perfectly cooked fries were plentiful. Overall a great meal. Highly recommended.
I like going here, there's so much interesting stuff to look at, the food is great (huge portions) and the service is some of the friendliest in the area.
And dogs are very welcome; they have their own menu!
