Extensive menu and the food was nice. A few ok ales in bottles available along with the standard cooking lager types on draft. Friendly and helpful staff, cash and card accepted. They have a roof terrace which looked nice but was not in use on our visit which I couldn't quite understand as looked ideal in the sun and provided extra seating outside which would have been useful. Worth trying for a bite to eat or quick drink in the sun.

Stumbled over this hidden treasure whilst walking along the sea front. A wide variety of dishes on the menu, that kept two picky children happy at the same time. The food did take time to come out, however, it was obviously fresh and just been cooked which I'm personally happy with. Definitely will be using again

What a find! Absolutely fantastic cafe with great menu choice and such friendly staff that couldn't do enough to help us! The roof terrace has a lovely view of Scarborough and the sea and has an extensive gin list. This is a must visit for great food, drink and a friendly atmosphere

Can't fault this place. Looked like a snack bar, but we had the most exquisite seafood chowder - I mean seriously the best I've ever had in the UK: large prawns, cod and gnocchi with roasted lemon - honestly fantastic. The fish sandwich was excellent too, crunchy hot battered cod in a soft white roll. Staff were friendly, courteous and efficient - I'd beat a path to the door and highly recommend, a genuinely pleasant surprise. And they take contactless card payments so I guess some of the reviews are out of date. We're from Dorset, on holiday, so will probably never get there again but if you're local, or visiting, this is one to seriously support. Well done!!

Lovely breakfast. Delightful place just over the road from the seafront. Would definitely recommend.

Nice cafe quick service food was very hot. toilet is round the side outside which I believe is coded so only customers can use it. Re visited here (September 19) seems to have had a makeover and gone more up market as it’s more pricey. Got steps up to it so no good for any one disabled with chair/scooter who’s on there own
