Love this place. It has everything, and while it's a value department store they only sell good stuff. I trust them when I'm buying from them which had included clothing, cleaning, household, DIY stuff etc

Lovely shop, great prices and stuff you don't see anywhere else, the store in Scarborough looks like it's closing as the top floor is shut.
Visited Boyes in both Scarborough and Whitby while on holiday. A lovely female assistant in Whitby went above and beyond to find a magnifying glass for me. Both shops are well stocked with all manner of goods. I usually shop for craft items and always buy some yarn from Scarborough. Like the motto says 'If they don't stock it, you don't need it!'

Looks a tired old shop, however, beneath the surface a lot of good products covering the whole range and reasonably priced with bargains..

Plenty to find here from clothes, kitchen & bathroom ware, toiletries, crafting items,paints, haberdashery & much more! Staff are lovely & very helpful. Worth a visit.
Shop around in here, 3 floors of practically everything needed. Clothes, cleaning stuff, craft supplies. DIY bits, Great variety. Not far from car park and near to Market. Lifts inside to all floors. No toilets anymore and No cafe anymore. Only one fitting room in use, others being used as stock rooms. I do think the standard is dropping in here, but that is just my opinion
Purchased 2 bedroom carpets from here, helpful staff member was able to give prices for the sizes I wanted, calculating on the prices per square metre. Was plenty of roll ends but found it better to buy from the rolls for what I needed, at a good price. They do not do delivery personally anymore, but use a courier company. Was able to get someone I knew to pick them up instead, next day, and they had rolled them to be the shortest length as I'd requested and also helped take them to the vehicle.

Always nice to pop into Boyes, never know what I'm going to find. Just bought myself a nice ladies cross body bag. Very happy with my purchase....was needing to downsize and the price was very reasonable.
Growing up when I visited Boyes. It was always a favourite. Time has maybe moved things a little but the feel of this long established shop. The staff were lovely. The only downside is the cafe is closed indefinitely.
Top shop just about sells everything.
