Man, this was sooooooo good. Curry sauce - yum Gravy - yum Chips - hot and fresh Fish - fried fresh was delicious!! Mushy peas - yum Fish cake - good Really reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend. We had small fish, it was big enough for all the adults. They have a small seating inside, and some outside seating too.

Liked the fish and chips, and also the curry sauce.. However, the fish was too oily The sitting area could be more hygienic and clean Overall, it was nice for a quick meal, and if you fancy fish and chips along the sea side

Very popular fish and chip place on the coast. They are very fast with preparing the food though. Prices are reasonable and food is very good with fresh fish, crispy batter and delicious chips. We come here every time we come to Scarborough!

Fantastic fish n chips, all cooked fresh, the portion size is massive. Sue, who served us, was very friendly, the fish is bought fresh every day directly from the harbour. Definitely worth a visit. The large portion was so big even my fat mate couldn't finish it.. 🤣

Got the combo and it was very good value. Think it was only £6 something for fish, chip, fishcake and peas. All made to order so can take a while but worth it.

Fish cake included with the fish and chips, pot of hot mushy peas. The fish had a little too much oil but was enjoyable.

A good place to eat if you’re fancying fish & chips in Scarborough, never any issues, one of the better ones.

After realising Mother Hubbards was closed for the week, we looked to see where else could do gluten free fish and chips in Scarborough. To our delight, we found out that Papa's was equipped to do so, with a separate dedicated fryer for that purpose. My partner was very happy, as was I when I tasted it and realised that there was barely any difference between their gluten free and normal batter! Also, if anyone looks at the menu and is somewhat confused as to what a "bread cake" is, it's a chip butty. Yeah, I was a bit bewildered with it too! 😅 A perfect fish and chips experience, all on the Scarborough sea front 🐟🍟

Lovely fish and chips and a good price. The staff were very friendly and helpful and also came to make sure everything was OK with our food. I would definitely come back again without a doubt. The portion sizes are amazing too I dred to think what the giant fish would be like.

Amazing fish and chips made more enjoyable by very friendly staff who regularly asked if the food was OK and if we needed anything else. My wife was in fish and chip heaven as being a coeliac she needs to eat gluten free and the menu offered a huge choice. I ordered the large Haddock and chips and boy was it huge! It made jaws look like a stickleback! We were also lucky enough to have a lovely window seat overlooking the bay which made the whole experience very memorable.
