This place has recently changed hands and they re trying very hard to stand out.

Had a gorgeous meal here last night. The staff couldn’t have been more lovely and helpful . The food was delicious.we will always go here when we visit Scarborough.
Wow what a experience, just want to say a big thank you to Amar and the staff, the service and food was second to none. The family and I travelled to the beach from Bradford and wanted something to eat, quick Google and the India the restaurant came up. We all throughly enjoyed our experience and would recommend and definitely go again when we are up there. 5 stars. Thank u.

Celebrating a friend's birthday and we were given a very warm and courteous greeting as we entered. We were led to a lovely alcove with fantastic decor and seating arrangements. The food is of an extremely high standard. Nothing was to much trouble for the waiter. I had lamb madras and it was spicy hot and just as one would expect. The nann bread was gigantic and came hung in a rack type affair. The portion size was perfect. I am oversized and suited me fine. A visit to the toilet and was greeted with a very nice clean bathroom and a fresh aroma of scent.
To finish off the management provided a spectacle of indoor flares and a lovely plate of cake and ice-cream for the birthday guest. There was more than enough to be shared. So I did get to taste the yummy chocolate too.
Compared to competitors I would say for decor and service and food it would rate higher although I have had pleasant experiences elsewhere. However for comfort the heating was on fully and was nice and warm. All in all, this restaurant in now high on my list of favourites and will be back on the future.
Popped in on a very quiet Tuesday eve, people sat waiting for takeaway but we decided to sit in, Atmosphere was obviously lacking slightly but that was nothing to do with the restaurant itself, but more to do with out of season cold windy midweek timing of our visit. The service was second to non, very helpful and offered advice on some new things on the menu, was very happy with our choices, even took some home as couldn't finish it all. Owners and staff were very chatty and offered us a shot of something nice as we paid. All in all, we will be returning on our next visit yo Scarborough.

The best Indian food we have had in Scarborough and I'm not one to say that lightly.
Wonderful welcoming curry house, extensive menu of food and drinks, delicious meals, friendly staff and decadent decor. We will be back! Thanks again for a great meal and fantastic overall experience.
Ordered through just eat and had 25%off. Arrived quickly and was nice and hot. All 4 dishes were gorgeous but I would highly recommend the chicken tikka shashlik bhuna. Absolutely beautiful. Also the special rice was really tasty.
First time ordering from the India, we tried the Sheek Kebab Starter, Chicken Tikka Acherc, Lamb Jalfrezi, Egg Rice, Popadoms and Garlic Nans. Everything we ordered tasted amazing would recommend all of it, it was delivered quickly and great portion sizes, we will definitely be re-ordering 10/10.
