Had a lovely meal today for our wedding annivrrsary. Both the service and the food were Great. Thank you xxx
Stayed for 2 nights in November in a double bed pod. Lovely, clean pod with great facilities within and on site. Staff are outgoing and friendly. Its also in a great location between Scarborough and Whitby with a short drive to both destinations. Would recommend to anybody and would definitely visit again. 5* accomodation!
we stayed in pod 7 and had a wonderful time, had breakfast and an evening meal whilst we stayed and both meals where lovely. Shower/bathroom facilities on site also excellent. thank you.
Cannot recommend it high enough! Overall experience was second to none. Most beautiful views fantastic warm pods with plenty of room. Facilities were excellent and staff couldn't have been more accommodating. And the food in the restaurant was superb. I will definitely be returning with my family for a long weekend. (and will be going for a walk to the town that never was) :-) x
We stayed in #1 deluxe pod for 1 night and it was fantastic what a lovely little find from my other half! We ate in the restuarant and the food was nice all the staff are really friendly and the prices for food and drink were good. The pod was well insulated, clean and cosy our only discomfort was the mattress. We would definately return & reccomend to friends.
You have to try Doreen’s Black Pudding fritters and the Steak Pie. Marvellous. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
Had a lovely weekend at Falcon Forrest Glamping!
Arrived Friday around 5.30pm. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were really friendly.
Was shown around the site and advised where to park before being shown our pod. We spent 2 nights in Deluxe Pod number 1.
The pods are big and well insulated and warm up quickly once inside. The bed provided was comfortable with lovely warm bedding. The towels provided were bright white and everything was spotless. Heater and Kettle were provided along with a good selection of teas and coffee’s.
The pod was good for privacy and also had a picnic table and spare table provided. We took our own camping chairs and there was lots of space to sit out on our decking.
There was a party of 8 girls at the same time as us and although they sat outside drinking there was minimal noise once we were inside our hut.
The showers and toilets are spotless and very warm! The showers are powerful and also really warm. Although; when showering there isn’t much space to get dried and dressed without stepping on the wet floor so I would recommend taking a dressing gown and doing this back in the pod.
The only issue we had was with the disposable BBQ’s we had bought onsite for £4 each. The first one wouldn’t light so a second one was given for free but we couldn’t get this to go either. I would suggest taking a small BBQ or buying disposable ones elsewhere.
Checking out was quick and simple and again staff were very friendly / helpful.
Other than the minor issue of the BBQ everything was PERFECT and I / we will 100% be staying again. Loved it!

Visited a few times since re-opening! It’s a must. Great food and ambience!
Absolutely blown away. The staff were immensely accommodating and friendly for a start. They made our meal especially memorable by their positive attitude. The food was excellent, brought in good time and professionally served. If I'm in this area again, I will stop for sure. Recommended stop for anybody that enjoys a good pub meal and pint. Well done to the staff of this great place!
Popped in on the super sort of the moment on our way home and we are so glad that we did the food was lovely portion sizes are not for the faint hearted. The table next to ours must have had whale and chips it was that big. My steak pie was like a desperate Dan pie it was massive and very tasty. beer was good and staff were very helpful. Highly recommended 😎
Came here for a Meal last Thursday night, superb, both myself and husband said that this was the best Steak Pie we have had. Starters were also out of this world. Food worthy of a top class restaurant, will be back when in the area again. Also very friendly Staff.
This is a very nice place to stay. The staff are fantastic and the food is superb. If you get the chance have the fish the chef is brilliant. You have to bare in mind this is an old place so the floor boards are a bit creaky. Particularly if your on the ground floor. This shouldn't discourage you however embrace it for what it is. Recommended.
Dinner was fantastic, probably the best fish and chips I've ever had. The apple pie was cold when brought out though. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Sit towards the back by the window, you get an amazing view.
Fantastic food and staff very helpful. service outstanding went for a family meal and kids had the pizza from kids choice and said best pizza they ever had. Lady behind bar even went out of her way to get me a voucher for flamingo land and saved me £40
Absolutely delicious vegan butternut squash and lentils Wellington. It was one of the best meals I recently had, flavours were really nicely balanced, all complemented each other perfectly. If you like traditional British dessert, sticky toffee pudding is to die for. Superb stuff too!
We have just left the Falcon Inn after a wonderful dinner. We walked in with no reservation,as we are on holiday, and the lady at the bar couldn't have been more helpful. Dinner was just great and waiting staff lovely! We look forward to a return visit.
We stayed for one night in the Glamping Pods and the facilities were excellent. The food was reasonably priced and there was a nice homely atmosphere.
Unfortunately, despite the location, facilities, cleanliness, food and pricing all being great, the owner did manage to make sure we left with a sour taste in our mouths.
When coming to pay the bill, my partner went to pay on card, and after numerous attempts with different cards, the machine continued not to work. Following this, the owner insinuated more than once that we had no money in our accounts, and when we offered a solution (online bank transfer) to the machine not working, she abruptly questioned us and said they don't work in that way. Then she said "well I need paying" - when she did finally get paid using the bank transfer option (which apparently they don't use) she still continued to question our accounts, making us feel very uncomfortable in front of other members of staff and created an unpleasant finish to a lovely evening together.
Apart from the owner, my partner and I had a lovely trip to Falcon Forest and we would stay again.
Had an excellent lunch there a couple of days ago. Had two dogs with us so dined in the garden although we were invited to use the conservatory. Exceptional staff and really good food
We ate at the Falcon on the 17th March 2016, the food was excellent and they were very accommodating of our 9 month old baby, providing a booster seat and offering to warm his food without us asking. It was very quiet this week but I understand that they are extremely busy May until September, the restaurant looks to be set up for around 100 covers, so I would recommend booking in advance.
A brilliant place to stop off at, we stopped for a Sunday roast. My partners words were it was the best Sunday roast ever. It's a fair price with good service. If we are back in the area we would deffo call in.
Went glamping here for one night, the location is great, nice and remote but Whitby and Scarborough are easily reachable too. We managed to upgrade to the pod with the bed in which was very comfortable and was nice and cosy (it rained most of the time we were there so this was lucky!) We also ate in the restaurant and the food and service was great, would definitely come back.
Myself and my partner along with our 9 year old daughter got a family pod for 1 night for an overnight stay close to Whitby. We really enjoyed our stay, there was a warm homely atmosphere in the inn itself with very friendly and attentive staff. The facilities were spot on, the toilets and showers maintained and cleaned to the highest of standards with an outdoor wash area for cooking pots and camping utensils. The location is ideal as it is situated between Whitby and Scarborough, also been very close to Robin hoods bay and the North Yorkshire moors all of which are beautiful must see places which the Falcon Inn binds together perfectly. The pods were great and it was our first time camping or "glamping" in this way having always used tents or caravans in the past this was a refreshing experience and we would certainly stay at the Falcon Inn again. We'd like to mention that we made a mix up when booking, my partner would have prefered a bed in the pod and was under the belief that the "Family pods" had beds but only
The "Double pods" have beds
The "Family pods" do not have beds
This wasn't an issue we realised after and bought some air beds but thought we should point this out to prevent people doing the same. If we were to find any fault it would be be that for us we felt the pods were a little close together but this didn't affect our stay and we still loved the place. The view of the sky and the stars was amazing from the pods once the sun had gone down, very beautiful and relaxing. We like the idea of maybe some secluded pods in the surrounding forest area making it a true cozy forest glamping experience. All in all top marks
Very impressed with the standard of food for such a remote place. The staff where also very warm and welcoming. The views where an added bonus. Highly recommended
Great meal good friendly staff. We had to rush off and owner gave us our pudding I'm a take away box. GREAT
