Amazing fish and chips, the batter was so light it just flaked well worth the money and the staff were friendly they were always on the go because it was always busy there was a queue out the door if I ever go back to scarborough this is one place I would definitely eat at.

Visited here for our day trip to Scarborough for lunch. After a small wait at the entrance (it was very busy) we were taken to a table near the front window upstairs which offered nice views specially if you are into people watching. The waitress taken our order and we didn't wait long at all for food considering how busy it was. I opted for one of the fish and chip meal deals where you got a drink and bread too. Food was delicious and filling.
Overall a nice place to eat but very busy.

Sense of humour from manager excellent as I paid the bill while my wife was in the washroom & the manageress played along with my attempt at humour by stopping my wife as she was going down the stairs "without paying"
I even phoned up the main chipshop part next door when we got home to find out how they make the superb curry sauce.

Me and my partner came for lunch today and the food was incredible. Perfectly bartered fish and perfect chips. Staff very friendly and approachable and nice pleasant atmosphere. Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be coming again.

The fish was absolutely delicious and HUGE the batter was exactly how I wished for,
The chips were real chips, big and cooked properly soft, fluffy inside crispy edges outside. Top notch.

Sausage and chips for the wife, a fantastic amount of batter crispy crunchy flavoursome batter and quality sausage, and again, a mound of chips that we couldn't eat all of them due to the quantity.
The young waitress was very polite, very helpful and obliging as we asked to sit downstairs as I am unable to manage the stairs. So thank you to you.

Very good food (as you can see from the photos I clearly don't like their sausage and chips with curry sauce). Staff have on the most part being polite although on one occasion the staff who spoke to us were quite rude. Perhaps didn't meant to come across the way it did, but both myself and the person I was with felt the same way about the interaction with that member of staff. But generally have never really had any issues here and the food and service have always been very good.
This is the only fish shop I'll go to in Scarborough! Visited today, 3 adults 4 kids. As always, we waited for a table upstairs in the window. Food was incredible and the staff are always so good with the kids. Children's meal deal is amazing value for money. Been coming here for years now and can't recommend it enough!
We are on holiday for a week in Scarborough, after a walk on the beach on our first night on Monday we stoped here for a little snack before heading back to our hotel food was amazing. Brought the rest of the family here this afternoon for a late lunch and sat in the restaurant, everyone loved it. Staff are friendly and attentive xx
Absolutely amazing me and my family have been going for 20+ years now I think my mum used to go when she was a kid and tbh we will continue to go it is like a family tradition. Food is just amazing I don't know how they do it but the fish and chips here will always beat the local fisheries I have back home.
Staff were absolutely amazing, always keeping areas tidy proving they have pride for where they work. had a word with the manager after and he may look intimidating but one of the friendliest managers I have ever met.
