Mega place the breakfast and the lunch/evening menu is great deffo recommend breakfast though the staff are great too deffo recommend just sad we didnt find it sooner will deffo be going again
went last nite for our girly Christmas meal. had a fab time. staff were accommodating from start to finish. the food was amazing. as it's christmas we opted for the 2 course with unlimited cocktails and beers. wow. cudnt recommend more. chicken starter was cooked beautifully. belly pork for main with macaroni cheese was gorgeous. sides of sprouts, parsnips and carrots made it. cocktails kept flowing and nothing was too much trouble. defo going back and wud recommend u to go 5☆

Booked a table for Friday evening for 2 adults and our 2 boys. This was our 1st visit but it definitely won't be our last.
The place was busy but our table was ready for us. Will, our waiter (and the only one working that night) was fabulous.
Extremely friendly and welcoming, he took our orders and although there was a little wait for our food, we didn't mind as when it arrived it was outstanding.
Dan, the Chef, is obviously very talented as everything we ordered was beautifully cooked and plentiful. It was demolished! I had to take a doggie bag home as there was too much for me.
We were the last to leave the restaurant but were not rushed or hassled to leave.
Will was happy to chat even though he had to tidy up and get finished.
It's a long time since I've felt such personal service in a restaurant.
I would highly recommend this wonderful place for anyone who appreciated good food and meat!
The prices are very reasonable considering the quality.
Looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing food and amazing service. Went last night for tea. Me and my partner loved it. I had the ECK burger which was amazing, my partner had The New Yorker. Which she loved too. When looking at the menu we liked the look of the breakfast menu. So this morning we both went back for the breakfast and had pancakes. Which again was very nice. Well recommended a visit if your in Scarborough. We will be coming back again soon.
Absolutely AMAZING. The staff were fantastic and so friendly. The food and milkshakes were exceptional....we were so full but knew we HAD to try the puddings and wow we're so glad we did those Oreo donuts. The children's menu is fantastic value for money. Oh music? the music in there is great...I really couldn't say enough nice things about this place. We absolutely will be returning again!!
Went this morning and had the Facebook breakfast it was huge! Tasted great, cooked perfectly nice runny egg and crispy bacon. Bread was a bit thick but that is my preference.
Service was excellent and staff attentive without hovering over us.
I noticed the waitress see people come in with a child and she just got them a highchair and set it up without needing to be asked.
Omg !! Amazing night last night staff were lovely nothing too much trouble, and as for the food it was lush belly pork was amazing and veg cooked perfectly, and as for the cocktails � well need I say more, will definitely recommend it’s a must will definitely be back thanks for having us for our Xmas night out.�

Wonderful food and lovely staff! I had the ECK burger which was beautiful. The string onions (forgot their proper name lol) are to die for. All presented beautifully on a wooden board with the fries in a little chip basket. My friend had the squealer, she said it was gorgeous and also the chocolate milkshake was just wow! Mandie and Will (I think it was Will? I'm terrible with names) were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Thank you guys. We will be back! :D
Brilliant cannot rate highly enough. People are lovely and have such passion for the food. which can be tasted. The new fries are amazing. Cant get back soon enough :)

So accommodating, I got invited to a friends birthday meal and was a little worried as I am vegan but they went above and beyond my expectations and the food was really enjoyable! Would highly recommend! �
It took a while to get meals but it was worth to wait!!! Staff apologised couple of times and meals was absolutely perfect!!! Can’t even imagine better American style 🥘. Definitely will come back next time we will come to Scarborough and will highly recommend to everyone!!!
Been visiting Mandy and team for years, and if we’re in the area always make a point of stuffing our faces at ECK!! Amazing food, fab service and a bit like coming home �
Went today as was in the area you won't be disappointed the food was amazing as was the staff and they do doggy bags which you will need as the portions are massive a 15 year old bottomless pit struggled which shocked us. Definitely be going back when back in area. Well done people what a great place you have

Absolutely fantastic dining experience from start to finish! Excellent customer service from will and one of the owners! With 2 energetic kids in tow we were made to feel welcome! Food was out of this world! The kids even got to go in the kitchen to make their own puddings! Would defo recommend and we will be returning next time we are in Scarborough!

Loved it, fantastic food, highly recommended. Takes a while to cook but well worth the wait. Staff very helpful and accommodating, will help you decide if you're unsure of what to order. Picture is of the "Notorious P.I.G". Philly cheese steak was amazing and son says the Mac N Cheese was the best he's ever had.
Absolutely brilliant American diner, great portion sizes and very good price too. I have included a picture of the £9 cheese and bacon burger which is massive for the price, starters are the size of a lot of places mains too. Such a great place, would highly recommend

Lovely themed American diner I had the new York chicken omg amazing even had a children's version as my nephew had the same he's 7 it was pretty busy but still a couple of tables left plus the lady offered us all a few free sweets on our way out not just for the kids but us adults aswell hehe
We love this place and they are sprog and little dog friendly. Its always spotless, yummy and the staff are very friendly (and most definitely additional needs aware and welcoming) Really lovely people. Oh and the portions are huge.
I have been to East Coast Kitchen many many times and the food has always been nothing short of sensational.
If you like your American BBQ food then this really is the place to go in Scarborough.
Also, the milkshakes are to die for.

Service is outstandingly friendly. The food is great portions of unique and delicious flavors. The prices are very agreeable for what you get.
They even have famous food challenges. I did the nacho one and it was a great food+social experience. I'm a big dude with a nearly unstoppable appetite, yet my face is somewhere on the ceiling of shame.
I'm a red-blooded American and I approve of East Coast Kitchen on the basis that it is a genuinely good restaurant, regardless of the American theme.
I am most certainly going to revisit.

So happy to find this place - we popped up to visit my mum who had travelled down from Scotland and having our dog with us it was great to see the doggie friendly sign. That was before we even stepped inside! Once in the server was delightful, just the right amount of interaction, and the food was excellent - certainly beyond my expectations. My mum and aunt have never seen burgers like it :) Despite being in a central location the prices were incredibly reasonable. I'd go back to Scarborough just for the hot dogs here.
Friendly welcoming staff, fun upbeat American themed decor and music. Quirky objects of interest dotted round to keep everyone amused till meals come. Brilliant choice on menu well described and staff knowledgeable and happy to answer questions on menu items.
Don't be afraid to ask for variations of dishes as accommodated our requests. Food arrived hot and portion sizes bigger than expected. Children's menu brilliant also. Suits all ages, including prams and dogs. Worth a visit for all occasions! Recommend the New Yorker, cheese burger,Caesar salad and brownies. Food challenges available for the brave amongst you get on the wall of fame or shame 😀
What an awesome restaurant! We went here on Saturday night and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and great value, and the service was excellent! Shout out to Ashley and Faith who served us and made us feel so welcome and who were just lovely all evening. Drink was reasonably priced too. My husband had the notorious PIG (which was huuuge) and I had the pulled pork burger. Oh and to top it all off they let our little dog Neville in :-) We will definitely be back!
This place was a last minute decision and the right one! Me and the wife celebrating our wedding anniversary and just wanted a good quality American style meal, I had the Philly cheese steak and she had the Burger! The quality was out of this world!!! I had a bite of the burger and it was one of the best I've ever tasted (and I've had quite a few to say the least). And the lady on the counter was lovely!! Banging food! Don't let the interior fool you! This is not "just a cafe" as I heard someone say on the way out! It is top notch American grub!!
Came here last year after finding it highly recommended on trip advisor. Didn't disappoint again this year. Lovely chicken Caesar salad with gluten free croutons and a whole chicken breast on it. Others had steak and veggie breakfast similarly packed on the plate. Well worth the money and food excellent ☺
During my families visit we were very impressed by the standard of the food and value for money. The staff were brilliant, nothing was to much to ask. My son has downes syndrome and communicates by signing. When one of the staff spotted this she signed back, this made our visit. The young lady who waited table was very attentive and made a fuss of him, but treated him as a person and not as a young man with a disability. Our visit was worth the time and money, Fantastic visit so much so we came back the next evening and had the sweet course, as we could not eat another thing. I would recommend a visit, but only if you are hungry.
Loved it especially as they cater for gluten free. Burgers and dawgs served in American themed dinner. Nice and friendly staff, some good choices on menu not usually seen, thick shakes , soft drinks and beers served, including gluten free beer.
