Delicious food. We went for lunch and would have liked to have some smaller bites such as soup or salad available, so would recommend you go hungry. The food is heavy, and rich. They do tapas, but they’re all also quite heavy options.
It’s a fabulous little place, make sure to book if you’re more than 2. The view is incredible, great coffee, lovely staff. Well done. We WILL be back, and can strongly recommend to others.
Not wheelchair accessible unfortunately.
Busy little bistro. Quite cosy but when full can get a bit noisy. However the seafood is some of the best I have eaten in my life and great value for money. Had the chowder and hot seafood platter -- highly recommend
Dog friendly with great sauce on tap (brown and red)! A firm favourite every time we visit Scarborough. Dog friendly, food is amazing - great atmosphere and full of locals. Great view of the South Bay Beach or Scarborough Marina wherever you sit. Quite busy on weekends so would recommend booking.
First time ever trying this place and wow! It did not disappoint. The breakfast has to be the best breakfast in Scarborough, everything was delicious and the eggs were cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself is lovely and the staff are friendly. 10/10!
Very nice place for sea food. We had a crab salad and homar in garlic butter. Everything was delicious, juicy and fresh. If I ever visit Scarborough will pay a visit again! Nothing better than fresh local food.
Beautiful freshly cooked food. Tasty and well presented. I love this place. My 2nd oyster and a bowl of seafood chowder. Delicious.
I recommend booking here. We managed to get seats looking out of the window on a breakfast bar type table. I was very pleased with this but bar stools are not to everyone's liking. The breakfast was great but only warm, not piping hot. The coffee was amazing.
Chowder and margaritas were superb. We had the small portion and it was still very generous. Staff were lovely. For the lactose-intolerant among us, it's well worth taking a lactase supplement to enjoy the chowder (sorry, I think I left mine behind on the table). Absolutely baffled by the man who looked at all the amazing things on the menu then ordered a jacket potato with tuna. It did look like an excellent potato, though, so maybe he knows something I don't
Spontaneous visit on a cold, damp Monday in January. Absolutely made our day!
Incredible food, we had the Lookout Seafood platter. Every part of the platter was top of the game seafood, fresh and tasty, cooked with passion and loads of garlic and butter (yum yum). The service was great and the place is super friendly and welcoming!
If you like seafood you have to pay a visit to Lookout On The Pier.
I strongly advise to book this place gets really busy. I’d never had chowder before and it was delicious. It comes in 2 sizes. The small portion was very generous and filling. I may just go to Scarborough for a week so that I can lunch there everyday!
We came from all the way from California and it reminded us of the fun and excitement of Pier 49 in San Francisco. I'm really looking forward to seeing the improvements planned for this pier in Scarborough.
Enjoyed the staff and especially the food. They were both epic. I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting this beautiful Victorian seaside resort community.
This place is a true gem. Fantastic views and the food and service were both excellent. We shared a fish platter and it was exceptionally good, everything was really fresh and perfectly cooked.
We visited this fabulous restaurant yesterday & it was sea food heaven! The atmosphere, hosts, panoramic views over the sea and Scarborough front and especially the fruits of the sea selection was truly magnificent. Hats off to the talented chefs! Off the beaten track and from outside deceptive, but go up the stairs to this hidden gem! A forever memory & so glad we allowed plenty of time for fine dining & finishing with drinks on the balcony while the sun went down. Thank-you to the team!
My friend have reserved 2 tables for 4 peoples as we are 8 person. We was served with a smile from the lovely staff and help to assembled table to be a big table.
The menu is a bit pricey for me but I have chose Lobster with garlic and butter, small fish and chips and kid menu.
The food was great but a slight bit oily for sauce with Lobster and the batter of fish was hard to bite.
Honestly the taste of food is not different from the others and it took nearly one hour waiting for our food. However, the view from this restaurant is stunning and great staff make this place worth to try to go when you visiting Scarborough.
Don't be put off by the exterior or location. Called in mid afternoon for a light lunch and luckily staff found us a table. Recommend you book if you planning visiting. Was very busy but not chaotic a lovely atmosphere. We went back for breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Would book if we visit again. Fabulous views and food. Only disappointment was didn't get chance to try the seafood platter. Don't visit if you looking for cheap badly presented food. Do visit for fabulous freshly cooked and well presented food.

During our last night in Scarborough, I wanted to eat seafood that wasn't fish and chips. I found this place from a quick google search and it didn't disappoint. It's a little hidden gem that's still in the centre but tucked away from the busy part. Service was quick, staff were really friendly and accommodating, food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant is dog friendly. There's also a small space for outdoor sitting. We have salt and pepper squid (which we asked for as a starter), langoustine for me and ribeye steak for the hubby who doesn't like seafood. If you ever find yourself in Scarborough, give this place a try, you'll definitely not regret it. ❤️
Food was delicous and great portions! Was very busy with lots of booked tables (we didn’t book) so if there’s a group you may need to book. Dog friendly also :)
Always an amazing experience. Great food and service every time we visit. Good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Oh and a cracking view of the harbour.
This cafe looks over the harbour, with lovely views of the boats and Scarborough Castle up on the hill. They serve good coffee and the food is great with decent sized portions. It has a reasonable number of tables inside, but it's not a huge restaurant, so consider getting there early to beat the rush. It's worth it.
