Nice place with absolutely delicious food, amazing presentation, I highly recommend it for a lunch with friends or family. Try to book a table with a view. I love their classic Passion fruit martini but once I was given a one with a dried lemon instead of passion fruit without asking me if I wanted this.

What a lovely venue with a really nice vibe and great views from the panoramic window s. The staff are friendly, helpful and polite. They're well-informed, but if unsure will always check. I had a gorgeous mix of rose and dark chocolate hot chocolate drink, made by Billy, who truly does go the extra mile. He was so solicitous and chirpy. My drink was yummy and he made sure to see if I was happy with it, nothing too much for him. The menu is extensive, interesting and the food I saw on other tables looked delicious; it was just a shame I'd already eaten! Thanks Billy and co. As Arnold said,: "I'll be back!" Maggie 11.03 24

Amazing little cafe, I've not visited since before COVID hit and they moved into the Stephen Joseph Theatre but I'm pleased to say after my latest visit they're still my favourite lunch spot in Scarborough. Vegan/vegetarian options are clearly labelled as are gluten free options or substitutions. Their fried tofu ramen is still my favourite thing on the menu and they have a great range of cake options - again dietary options clearly labelled. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Great food! I had the Donburi, and my husband opted for the Korean chicken, and both were delicious! Friendly staff, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Great food and fantastic staff. All of the team are friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty and there is a great range of food on the menu. Being inside the SJT is a good way to eat and then go to the theatre.

Group of 8 we pre booked Ribeye steak from the legends menu. Ribeye was ok, not the best I've had but the garlic flat mushroom, skin on fries, peppercorn sauce all for £19.50 was good value. Two cocktails for £13.50 were great. Nice waiting staff, and atmosphere in the SJTheatre cafe/Bistro.

Eat Everything Vegan If you want a window seat book in advance. Lots of space and not over crowded like some places in Scarborough. A super menu with lots of vegan options to choose from too. Roti Cania £6. Having eaten this in India and Bangladesh as a staple breakfast for months on end, I’d say it tasted as good, which is amazing because it usually has egg, butter and condensed milk in it. This vegan version was flaky on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside with a buttery taste. The sauce was really good but a thick curry dal would have been better as it sticks better than a runny sauce. With two rotis, it was as great sharing plate. EMC Baked Vegan Mac’N’Cheese £12.50 Honestly, we thought they screwed up and given us real cheese. It looked too cheesy, crispy too but melted perfectly with oil exuding from it and stringy with a cheesy aroma. It was the best vegan mac’n’cheese we’ve had. They use a mixture of vegan cheeses with a runny one inside mixed with engevita, then scheese on top. Faultless. Spicy Asian Vegan Donburi Rice Bowl £13. A large bowl. Really nice and I like spice but it overpowered me and my partner who likes a Phall! It wasn’t a hidden depth of spice in the mouth which is tolerable, but a nasty sting to the tip of the tongue with dissipated after 10 mins. I think it was from the hot Paprika powder scattered all over it. It tasted good but too harsh. Would I recommend. Certainly. Scarborough hasn’t enough places with good vegan options and ‘Eat Me’ would fit into any city. Would I go back. Yes, we’re going to go back this weekend.

I ordered the Gardener’s Balls with marinara sauce and chips. It was very tasty and the perfect portion. In general they had a lot of good vegan options that I hope to try next time. The setting is really cool in the theatre with Art Deco feature. Just overall a very enjoyable experience. Edit: I came back (how could I not?) and ordered the vegan quesadilla and it was amazing. Can’t fault the place!

This place is a gem. They do the most divine vegan Mac n cheese, and the oatmilk dark hot chocolate is superb. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff and a chance to people-watch from the first floor windows overlooking the street. A must visit café.

Wish I could rate this place more than 5 stars! Never had a bad meal from here... personal favourite is the Pork Ramen! Also tried a few of the specials which are always nice, especially the BBQ ribs! The owners and staff are really friendly and welcoming and are always happy to help and advise, especially with allergies. I've been coming here with my partner for a few years now and more recently i've brought my parents, sister and auntie to Eat Me and all of them have said it's the best food they've had! The organisation for booking a table as well as ordering food for takeout is really well managed which makes it easy to make these guys our number 1 option. The only negative is we live so far away 😂

I went in here with my service user therefore only ordered a vegan biscoff milkshake. The staff there were lovely and very accommodating for me to order a lactose free shake. I would recommend going to the bar it has a good environment.

We were recommended this place and it didn't disappoint. The building itself is awesome (art deco cinema) and there is lots of food choices for all appetites.

Been here a few time in the past and really enjoyed it. Due to covid-19 the restaurant is across the road in the Stephan Joseph theatre. It is best to book as can get quite busy during meal time. Very nice and chilled out atmosphere. All the staff we wearing masks and felt very safe while visiting. Also they were all very friendly and made us feel welcome. They currently have a limited menu on, but there is something for everyone. Not the cheapest place in town but definitely one of the best. Will definitely be returning again in the future.
