Great location within a minute’s walk of the train station. Great to see this iconic building in Saxmundham reinvigorated. Service was very efficient and quick, very friendly throughout our delicious dinner. Food presentation was accomplished, imaginative but not over-long menu (always a good sign!)

The whole place has been decorated to a very high standard & comes along with a very nice vibe.

Popped in for a drink after a long, hot walk, extremely friendly and efficient staff. Wine at a good temperature. Dog welcomed and served with a bowl of fresh water and a biscuit. Will definitely go back, and will eat there at some stage too.
This is a lovely small hotel in the centre of a lovely Suffolk market town. Stayed for 2 nights for a nearby family wedding and loved it. Nothing was too much trouble, staff very friendly and 5 stars for service are well worth it. Car park is a 3 minute walk but easily accessible. The refurbishment

Just had a lunch with friends which was freshly prepared and cooked using mainly local produce. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed.

Exceeded our expectations. Matt and his team were very warm and welcoming. The Bell is super dog friendly and my little Poppy was given a lot of attention, possibly even more than us, but I'm not complaining. Thank you guys for a unique experience! And a wonderful weekend

I've been a fan of The Bell for years, and it's great to see it fully restored and back in business. The decor is amazing—it's like being transported to a different time. And the food is just as delicious as ever. The hotel room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. Can't wait to come back
This place deserves 10 stars! THE most attentive service. Ashley and Matthew made us more than welcome, and Mark, the chef on the night we dined there, should get a Michelin star for the quality of the food. It was fantastic! In fact, the head of housekeeping gave us a tour of the unoccupied room

This hotel was excellent. The food was amazing and the service first rate. We stayed for business and they were really accommodating about sorting out breakfast promptly at 7am for us. The bed was so comfortable.
