Very nice meal at this pub. Menu was different from the norm, so I had to go and try.
Neil and his wife were the perfect hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We are already booked for a return visit!

Very well run establishment. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food both dinner and breakfast was of a very high standard. It is a good location to visit the local attractions such as Aldeburgh and Southwold. Highly recommended.
We came for lunch. The fish and chips were great and so as the local cider. We got some nice seats in the garden, which I would recommend having if weather allows it.
Beautiful pub, beautiful high quality food and great service. The pub garden is wonderful and you can see they grow a variety of fruit, veg and herbs on site which is nice to see. Very lovely menu and I'll be coming again soon.
Stunning! Lovely pub tucked out the way. Fantastic food. Cannot rate it highly enough. We enjoyed a fabulous three course Sunday lunch. Highly recommend.
Have stayed a number of times and cannot fault anything. Just returned from three day stay. Accomodation and food excellent as always. Neil and Jill are such good hosts always time for a quick word even when busy. For real ale drinkers there is always a great selection. We'll worthy of five stars.
Stopped here for two nights on b&b rate and ate in the pub both nights. Excellent tasty food. Nice en suite room and good location . What’s not to like !
Would have given 10 stars if I could. What a gorgeous pub - beautifully maintained with its beams and proper tiled floors. We received a very warm welcome from the landlord, landlady and foodserver, and enjoyed a delicious lunch with a couple of different real ales. Clearly popular with the locals,
A lovely pub with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The food was outstanding! Really nice outdoor area with lots of seating. Dogs welcome in bar area. Would highly recommend!

Love this place for a weekend break. We have stayed 5 times now. Good accessible room, great food and lovely staff. Very peaceful location. Close to Southwold Dunwich and Minsmere.
We had a three night stay at The White Horse and were well looked after. We stayed in an upstairs room next to the Inn, overlooking the garden, it was very restful. Due to covid, some of the soft furnishings had to be removed, but the room was spacious and great care was taken over changing towels a
Lovely pub. Full of charm and character. We did not book but were still able to dine here. Food was lovely. They had no problem with me ordering a kids meal.
