Had a few cod and chips from here. Comes well presented in a cardboard box. Apart from one occasion where the standard was mediocre (but no worse than other chip shops), this was at a busy time On other occasions its been delicious. You can't get better than Churchill's. Since they have been taken over it has been much much better. Great chips and selection of food, really enjoy getting a take out from here now.
It's one of the best fish & chips around.

Went to visit this newly branded and refurbished Fish and Chip shop yesterday. I was very impressed by the lay out, all decorated with Union Jack Bunting in time for Platinum Jubilee. The young lady who took my order was very friendly and professional. I ordered the Chicken Royal Burger with Chips,
Fish and chips delivered to workplace for an early evening meeting, arrived nice and hot, so well presented. We were super pleased!
I just had some batter and chips and to my suprise it had some fish in it. Looks like the fish was cooked Monday last and kept warm till today. Never again.
Never had their chicken but always go for their fish & chips as its always beautiful... freshly cooked to order...really light crispy batter and scrummy chunky chips ...just perfect. Grab one of their loyalty cards and every so often you get a free regular fish supper. 🎉
Great for us as we don't have to go into Cambridge to get fish & chips and can nip across to the supermarket for a quick dessert.
The staff are very good, well trained and quick, order is fulfilled very professionally and all the food we've had tasted great.

After having read reviews on website we had second thoughts about trying after change of ownership but we were nicely surprised as service was good the food was great
Chicken is moist and flavourful yet not overwhelming, chips are first class. I usually add a bit more salt as a personal choice. The wife and I are regulars as it's hands down our favourite place to eat.
Very busy and they looked like they could of done with more staff but our fish n chips were freshly cooked and very tasty. Thanks
