We were squeezed in at short notice as a table for 8. Birthday banners were at our table as it was someone in our parties birthday, which I’d only briefly mentioned when booking. The food was superb, great value for money & all the staff were so friendly. Would highly recommend!

Traditional pub, excellent ales and exceptional home cooked food... The chef apologised that the steak had burst out of its pie case!
You don't get that problem with shop bought pies.

Friendly place to try, with a good selection of food. Tasty and dogs welcome, but for me, it was the real chips… awesome!
Decent olde-style pub with nice staff. Real home-made food. Reasonable choice of standard ales, plus a couple of cask ales. Dog friendly. Outside area.
Booked a table for 3 couples on a Saturday early evening and shared a meal with our very close friends.
The service,food and price were all excellent and we enjoyed the occasion tremendously.

got a cupboard for dogs, with treats in. Well worth a visit.

Pedigree and guest ale both good. Food menu looks okay and sensible prices; locals say its good but I haven't eaten there yet - will return to try.

Went in for lunch during the week. Most of the tables were pre-booked and was a great sign of the food to follow. Really excellent and good value too. We'll be back for sure!
Stopped of to have a bite to eat had ham egg n chips just like mamma used to make egg done to perfection lovely meal ♡ Definitely recommend.
Went for our annual cycling group Xmas meal! Small but very friendly pub with home cooked food. Great Xmas meal from friendly staff at a very reasonable price. Good well kept real ales!
