I never leave reviews but this place deserves 10*..... probably the best burger I have ever eaten.. great friendly service, and amazing food.
I would recommend it to anyone and will definitely be back for round 2 soon.

We went there today, my wife had the lasagne and I had the frenchie burger. The food was outstanding, freshly cooked, hot and extremely tasty. Good portion sizes and friendly staff. Thanks guys.

I contacted The Boathouse from Australia to organize a little present for my dads birthday. I can't thank you guys enough for the beautiful presentation and meal that you all created for my dads birthday yesterday. A massive thank you to Holly for going the extra mile and helping me organize a voucher and bottle of wine to be ready for my dad as a surprise. The finishing details you have done on the card and bottle of wine that was given to my dad was brilliant. Spoke to my parents today and they were over the moon with the meal, so much so that when i come home to visit in August we will be coming in for a meal to celebrate my 30th! Thanks again for all your help. :)
We received unobtrusive but very attentive service including being upgraded from a bar to a restaurant table when it came available. The fresh fish was expertly cooked. Thoroughly recommend.
Great friday evening at the boathouse. The burger was amazing, one of the best I've had. The staff was brilliant with great service and making sure we had everything we needed. The connections band was playing and were brilliant, and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend the boathouse, and I will be back!
Massive portion size! Ordered the fully loaded vegan nachos as a main for £15 - would definitely feed 2. Delicious, but felt it needed a kick from jalapenos and something cooling like a vegan sour cream. Wasn't labelled as vegan on the menu, only noticed it as someone else in the group read the description. Friendly service and dog friendly too 🙂
Absolutely amazing food, best carbonara I have ever had, fish and chips was huge and the curry looked amazing. everyone in our party enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Would recommend this as a great place to eat, tables were clean and none of those sticky tables you get, toilets were also clean and well kept. Staff very friendly and helpful and they had no issues helping accommodate allergies.
Easy food and drink place in the center of Saunders foot. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Ordered a burger and loaded nachos with some drinks. The nachos were banging and the portion was generous, however, the vegan burger could have been better, it was a little dry, might have been better if they added relish or some other sauce.
Really nice place just off the beach. Great cocktails, with nice food, but limited veggie options. Service was lovely. Garlic bread and onion rings are a must.
Where to start! They were nice and quick to come and collect the drinks orders. Drinks arrived 5 minutes after we ordered!We pre ordered the food as we had booked a table for 10, but we had to order at the time for the kids menu. The food took 20 minutes to arrive from the moment we decided on the kids meals. The toilets are evidently cleaned regularly based on the immaculate state of them. They are not particularly spacious, but there is enough room. I had the Blue Cheese Burger, and couldn't finish it because it was soooo biiiig. With the children's menu, you get a free scoop of chocolate ice cream, which they loved 😁 Service was amazing! Would definitely come again!
Had a wonderful meal here this evening, the food was absolutely beautiful, portions were plentiful, lovely selection of drinks and a good children's menu which includes a free scoop of ice cream! Team were friendly, polite and attentive, a special mention to the gentelman who cared for us throughout our visit, (I think his name was Gareth apologies if this is wrong) however, he was superb and an asset to the business. Thank you, we will be back & definitely recommend if you're in the area!
Food was good, especially the chips. Would have given 5 stars for food, but my wife's food came out warm, While our food was hot.
We visited twice on our holiday. Both times we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
I like the feeling in this restaurant. It makes you feel welcome. There is a very good "gluten free" menu.
Our food took some time to arrive and we had a main and a dessert but it was busy.
The menu for this restaurant can be viewed online and you can preorder your food to save time. The serving staff were attentive and were constantly asking if there was any else you wanted.

Staff were very attentive when dealing with my son's food allergies and checked the meal with the chef before ordering.
Food was delicious. We ordered Chilli beef nachos as a starter, two ribeye steaks, carbonara and lasagne. Portions are good n prices very reasonable. It was one of the best meals we had whilst holidaying nearby. I would definitely recommend this place.

Just been to The Boat House for the first time and cannot recommend it highly enough. My husband had the ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection with what looked like triple cooked chips, delicious. I had the salmon special with linguine, I didn’t want it to end. I always judge a place by the toilets and theirs were impeccable. If you want good food this is the place. We dined in.
Just had a phenomenal meal. Generous portions, lovely flavours.. book a table before you holiday if you’re a tourist visiting. Staff warm and welcoming and great atmosphere :)

Had to wait several minutes at the reception desk although the staff at the bar saw us and didn't have any guests. Not a good start. However, the good was delicious and the portions really big - too big. The waiting staff was nice and attentive. Would have given 5 points if the start would have been better.
Our visit today was a 10/10 ! Staff were incredible, the service was perfect we were seen to very quickly and Our food was amazing too.
We did notice that the staff weren’t being spoken too very nicely by another table near us ( they were rude for no reason at all) but the staff handled it very well and remained very polite and friendly.
We will Definitely be back !!
