Had an excellent Christmas party here yesterday. The table was well decorated with some nice touches and was well arranged. The food was superb with plenty of it. Everything was home made by Steve Ellis and was very well presented. Very well done all.
Good beer and food. Friendly atmosphere and staff.
Many times I am here with my husband.Only one time I am here alone on Tuesday 30 Sep 2014. Last time I am here with my friends and we thrown from pub on Thursday 23 Oct 2014 after my husband funeral. Fantastic
This is a great pub. Can't wait to be back there once the caravan season starts again.
Very good and brill meals
Next level pub grub served about a minutes walk away from the beech! I was really impressed by the presentation of the food, the depth of flavour in the different dishes and the size of the portions. There are plenty of child friendly options too. The staff were very friendly and efficient throughout the service. It's definitely worth stopping here on your next visit to Saundersfoot.
I had the bass and was very cooked and presented, would recommend it, my partner had the beef Sunday lunch. Chips and vegetables selection very tasty too, service was slow however at 45 minutes wait, but it was a busy period.
Visited here on our holidays in Saundersfoot. A fantastic traditional pub. Our dog Oscar loved it so much he was knocking at the door at 7am on his walks to get in! Friendly staff and a place where the locals seem to go at weekends. If you're in South Wales in your holidays I'd highly recommend. Ate in the restaurant side one night also and the food was delicious.
Food was amazing. We went on the first day of our holiday and it was so good we went back again on the Wednesday. The Welsh Lamb was beautifully cooked and our meals on the Wednesday were just as good. Definitely recommended if you are anywhere in the area. Decent sized pay and display car park opposite
Absolutely first class. Busy and vibrant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Excellent choice, we were a large table of 16 celebratinga hen party. The food came out on time with attentive service. Excellent value for money.

So glad we visited here on our day out at sauderfoot! What a lovely quaint place with the best sea food! So fresh, tasty and well presented. The lamb we also had was delicious! Definitely got what we paid for and it was value for money. The staff are lovely offering great service with a smile. A must visit.
Food was very nice, reasonably priced for a holiday area, the staff were very pleasant but took an age to take our order and then the food took nearly an hour to arrive at our table. We pre booked our table and sat down at 6.30 as arranged, the food arrived at 7.55. I did mention this to the waitress on leaving who said they had been very busy but even so there were empty tables in the dining room.
Another fabulous weekend in Saundersfoot topped off with two visits to the amazing Roal Oak.
Steak and lobster was amazing, along with a yummy cookie dessert. Went again for Sunday lunch...top class food and service.
We a party of 4 booked to eat here on a Wednesday night in mid September. We had tried to walk in on previous nights but it was full. We were greeted and shown to our table by very friendly staff. We ordered our food and drinks and after a while we were informed that one of the dishes was not available. When the food came it was delicious and again served by friendly staff. Well worth eating here but be prepared to accept that you may have to book the day before.
Went on a Wednesday night for steak night, t-bone, sirloin or a ribeye for £18.50 including a pint or a glass of wine, food was lovely and service was great as well
