Fantastic food, fantastic place. I would say it is just above average prices. Free parking. incredible tasty food. I would definitely go back again.

Went today (13th August 2023) and it was a great dining experience. 3 Sunday Roasts and 1 Brisket. Also a children's cheeseburger. All exceptional in taste and quality. Came quick but not to detract from anything else. Great pricing too. Would highly recommend!
We last visited the Forge 10 years ago for our cousins reunion event. The pub has the choice of indoor and outdoor seating - the latter overlooking a large pond with ducks. There is a good selection of dishes and the scallops are a must. For our second course, most of us went for the sunday roast option with ample amounts of meat. The food was excellent and considering that it was upmarket - it wasn't too pricey.
We thought the environment was really lovely both in and out. Very relaxing. Staff very friendly. The food was delicious especially the salad. The lower mark for food was given because we thought it was too expensive. Eg. £4.50 for Sweet potato fries.
Awesome food, brilliant staff, great prices, lovely friendly place and well worth the visit, so much so, we called and enjoyed two evenings running! 5*
Visited for dinner, soup to start & lamb shank main. Food was lovely soup v.nice however I feel some additional veg included with dish wouldn’t have gone amis. @£22( i think) overall on the expensive side for portion but was good quality for what was served
Have been a couple of times and found everything to be very good. Always a welcome as you enter and friendly staff. The lamb shanks are great but very filling and the gravy is very tasty.
Excellent food and atmosphere here for the Sunday lunch. Brisket and Pulled lamb with all the trimmings went down a treat. Kids had a great time on the outdoor play area. Would highly recommend
Well worth the drive! Such incredible food and sweet staff. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu. Perfect picturesque setting with a lovely garden too.
Absolutely stunning is my best description. My wife and I shared the seafood platter, all was fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. I didn't need a sweet but I had the sticky toffee pudding and without doubt it was the best I've ever tasted. Thank you all.

Very nice food and you also get a massive helping. Very friendly and professional staff. Surroundings are amazing as well with a waterfall and pond. Definitely go again.
