This place is a little gem.
The small English breakfast was perfectly cooked and just the right amount all made with locally sourced, fresh ingredients.
Great coffee, homemade scones and kind, helpful, friendly staff.
Don't miss it if you are nearby.
This is a regular stop when cycling in the area. Nice food and friendly staff. They also cater to gluten and dairy free needs. You can sit inside or outside at the cafe, the adjacent craft shop has a comfy coffee shop where dogs are allowed inside while you enjoy the same great food.
This is a little gem of a cafe and gift shop with lovely food and atmosphere, nestled on the roadside about 1 minute drive from Santon Bridge. Even though the cafe is quite isolated it does get busy even out of season when the locals frequent it. Well worth a visit.
Great Coffee & superb breakfast served here. Proper Cumbrian sausage too 👍🏻😋
Called in today with grand daughter after a hike up & down Irton Pike.
She had a slice of chocolate cake which she ate but it was very dry.
Service was spot on as usual.
No problems with my tea and cappuccino cake.
Had spotted this on the map and decided to give it a try. We weren't disappointed!! Turned up just as it was opening and despite its rural location, plenty people had also turned up. After a look around the gift shop, we ordered tea and cakes for 2. Delighted that they also included our boy in the t
Visited for a friends baby shower, staff were really accommodating and friendly and the food was amazing with great options and accommodation for a number of different allergies.
Lovely stop off after a walk at Wastwater, delicious selection of scones 😋
Also enjoied a very nice visit from the next door neighbours dog 😂
I really liked the staff and the people in general. This cafe attracts good people from all over the place and it makes a great spot for escaping the world. The food is good also so get something to eat if you can.
Visited Woodlands for my birthday (41 eh hem). What a wonderful start to the day. Friendly staff, beautiful (freshly made local) breakfast, and lovely environment. Such a wonderful breakfast. Sorry about our dog barking and she thanks you for the biscuits.
Lovely dog friendly spot, outside or there is a separate space in the coffee cabin for if you have a dog. Best viccy sponge in ages ❤️
I couple of friends and I popped in from breakfast this morning (one of the only places locally that's offers breakfast). We were greeted with a smile and a genuine hello as we entered and a devine aroma of sweet treats.
We all had the traditional breakfast and it there was no issue with us making a
Homemade Steak Burger in ciabata roll with potato wedges was fantastic would of had another if it wasn't so filling , service was very swift and friendly. A must visit cafe !
Stumbled across this place after I took a wrong turn, and we thought we should call in for a coffee and cake.
How glad we did, they had a great selection of cakes/slices (we decided to go for the Baileys and Oreo slice).
The slice was amazing as was the coffee.
Would certainly recommend calling in h
Had a lovely afternoon with my partner and dog Poppy who was very welcomed by staff and even provided with her own bowl of dog treats. Our food was lovely, thank you
Lovely food friendly service, what's not to like.
A few of us went for early breakfast yesterday. The staff and owners made us feel very welcome and the service was great. The tearoom is very clean and well laid out. Plenty of options from cakes/scones and tray bakes. The breakfast/milkshake and coffee were fab and plenty of it. We will definitely
