Had a wonderful Family Sunday Dinner today . Food was lovely, staff and service excellent and good value for money too.
Forgot to take photos until dessert arrived. The roast meats and fresh seasonal veg were cooked to perfection and the homemade desserts were delicious. Staff very attentive too.
I stayed 6 nights and it was wonderful! The owner and staff made me feel most welcome and were warm and helpful, while also most professional. Efficient, clean, lovely service with a small hotel feel. I loved my room, great breakfast and charming pub. I would love to return to this gem in the beaut
Stayed at the Nithsdale while we were in Sanquhar to celebrate the Riding of the Marches. The rooms were lovely, loved the Sanquhar pattern cushions! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was ideal.
Breakfast was lovely, we had continental breakfasts, and we also had a lovely meal in the restaura

Had a meal on The thursday evening & could not fault a thing the service, food, everything was spot on. Went back for Sunday dinner & were disappointed, the meat was dry, the veg & roast potatoes soggy. we found even getting a drink took at least 20 minutes & i

Bed room matress bedding and shower were very good.

I went there for a dinner - little treat for myself. It is a nice restaurant (and hotel) in Sanquhar - one of the best probably. There isn't a lots of restaurants in that area. I manage to park for free beside the road nearby.
Finished a long day's walk on the Southern Upland Way here. Very comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Great food and they even had my favourite cider!

Have visited before but rooms have been refurbished since then. Really impressed in the rooms, great showers and beds.
Still the same great food in the restaurant and with an excellent choice of breakfast including a full Scottish .
We had a wonderful time at this comfortable and welcoming hotel, and Jade and Maura were particularly helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend a visit to Sanquhar and a stay at the Nithsdale. Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was superb, and the cozy pub is grand!

Great place to stay. Crawick multiverse, southern upland way and station all within walking distance. Beautiful room and very welcoming.

Hotel set in a beautiful village. Lots of nice dog walks nearby. The hotel staff were excellent couldn't do enough for us. Excellent service and very friendly
