An excellent restaurant, with top class food in a fabulous central location in Margate. The team are all extremely friendly. This has got to be the best Turkish restaurant in Margate. The charcoal grilled meat dishes are particularly exceptional. Thanks, well definitely be back!
Lovely restaurant and great food. As you enter the restaurant you see that the waiters are wearing face masks and then you are directed to the automatic hand sanitizer which sprays your hand when you put it under the sensor. The menu has also gone digital to reduce the chance of customer contact - simply choose food and drinks form the menu on your phone and the order goes straight to the kitchen. The service was friendly and the food was really good. We chose the mixed platter and everything tasted really good. The restaurant is walking distance from Margate beach so you would expect the price to be a little higher. There was a little mixup as we were initially charged for the complementary Turkish tea - but the waiter was pleasant enough to apologise and deduct it from the bill. If you’re visiting the beach and go for a Meal I would definitely recommend this place.
Friendly staff directed us to the hand sanitiser booth and took us to our table. All the staff and the manager were attentive. The food was delicious - mixed meze started, then lamb and chicken shish with fresh salad rice and bulgar wheat. The meat was tender and delicious. Definitely returning, even after the 'eat out ' offer.

Love this place. The food was really 👌delicious. Good selection of wines 🍷and nice atmosphere inside. We got three different complimentary dishes which is always nice. We had a great dining 🍽 experience overall and we definitely recommend this place 👌

Amazing place to eat and enjoy Turkish cuisine, food was everything, staff super amazing and nice. I so loved the handwashing machine at the entrance of the restaurant. Would definitely dine there again.
I NEVER do reviews but this deserves one. Let us start with the very warm and friendly greeting we received from the waiter, who promptly showed us to our table. Conversed with and asked how our day went and then took our order. The food arrived quickly and was tasty. We ordered the calamari and mixed kebab platter. The calamari was very fresh and tasty. The fries cam with a glorious crunch and it mixed well with the tartar. The kebab was also great, well seasoned. Would definitely recommend Edessa. 5 star!

We had amazing experience the food was hot, the portion size was great and fairly priced. attention to details was really lovely by the waiter had made sure that he had given me a table, where their was space where I can easily push my pushchair about if I needed to as i had baby with me and constantly was very attentive.
When we had finished our meal and I was outside I had approached a man that I believed was part of establishment and it turned out to be he was the owner and he was extremely welcoming to and nice as I wanted to know what was the meaning of the restaurant name and he explained it to me and my friend.
