The platonic ideal of a coffee shop. The outside seating is idylic in every way, and cute in many other ways. The shop is tucked in a corner of a not so busy street, cozy in a way only a small space such as this can be. The coffee tastes of warm summer days with a light breeze, and the tea cup is in a cute stack with its pot. The cakes are all excellent, a delight you can allow yourself and stop feeling bad about as soon as your first bite. I will remember this day for years.
This place is great! Brilliant coffee (the best I've had in a while) and from a local coffee roaster too, in Deal. Megan was so friendly and welcoming it was a treat. Sitting is available inside and over the lane in the churchyard too. Simple menu but, for us, everything we wanted. Loved the individuality of the cafe, even down to the beautiful coffee spoons. Couldn't fault a thing - well done!!! Next time in Sandwich this is a must.
Wonderful quirky, friendly local independent café. Hands down the best place to go for coffee in Sandwich. Super friendly owner and staff always give the warmest welcome and make you feel like a valued customer. Good coffee and locally made cakes. Lots of atmosphere and positive vibes. Art by local artists on the walls (for sale) inside and tables across the road in the churchyard make it a great place to be no matter what the weather.
If you are touring Sandwich there are almost always friendly locals inside happy to chat and share their inside knowledge on the town.
If you are cycling through Sandwich it's the best place in town for a coffee and cake refuel.
Very rare rating from me. But, this place deserves it. Loved this cute little coffee shop with church lawn dining ❤️
Popped in with my colleague, on our break at work. Greeted by 2 lovely ladies, and enjoyed a hot drink and some lovely rocky road. Lovely quirky place, will be back in to visit on our days off. Loved it and the great vegan options
Idyllic spot for coffee, cake and a little art
In the heart of Sandwich, nestled away in a quiet section of the centre, is a charming and pleasant coffee shop with a vibrant and eccentric atmosphere.
Appears to be a popular spot for residents and tourists alike to socialise and meet new people.
Extremely progressive and tolerant in appearance, displaying LGBT flags and permitting dogs within, (and goats if you have one).
Tl;dr:
Good café, good coffee, and good people.
Warm welcome. Cakes, brownies and coffee/tea delicious.
An amazingly funky place.
When I go to Sandwich the No Name Shop has always been a must-visit place for food, but I've now added this place to my list of essential places to visit.
Like being in the living room of a friend, having coffee and cake.
Loved this little place. Coffee, flapjack and welcome were top notch.
Good coffee, tasting cakes, lovely staff, stunning outside seating area in the church garden 😍
Delightful quirky coffee shop, very dog friendly, always go there when we're in Sandwich, would highly recommend
Very nice coffee. Tables and chairs provided in churchyard opposie, a lovely place to sit
Great little tea room and coffee shop. We enjoyed the coffee and hot chocolate, and really enjoyed the savory, vegan scone. The last running the shop was really friendly and helpful. We had a nice sunny day to sit on their tables in the church opposite. Would definitely come back.
Well worth a visit, great coffee and flapjack, the whole place takes you back in time, with the decor and the friendly service of the proprietor. Our party of four loved it. It's obviously a favourite with local, who were just popping in for a takeaway.
Lovely lovely little coffee shop. So sweet and accommodating.
Great little coffee shop. Made to feel very welcome. Lovely ginger cake and delicious coffee. Thank you.
Friendly little coffee house with great tasting coffee bought locally from Real Deal Roasters in Deal. Delicious tasting selection of homemade cakes. Charming atmosphere.
Absolutely the best, always friendly dogs and people to chat with . Large table of real
Coffees and vegan cakes, think they also have some gluten free. Bought a vinyl record in there a couple of weeks ago too!
