Characterful, warm and friendly cafe. Excellent, caring staff who can't do enough for you...as long as you are friendly and curtious as a customer ! My first visit, cakes were recommended by staff with the best coffee locally. Great value for money menu, with lots of options. Clean and well kept. Has the charm of a traditional cafe, which I personally feel adds to the experience. The best one in SandsEnd for sure. I will surely be back. A big thanks to all the lovely, kind and caring staff. I have no idea why any reviewer would actually complain about the service! Oh, and the cakes were yummy !

Love this place, we go here every time we stop in Whitby. It is a lovey walk along the beech to Sands End, then follow the pavement round for about 400 metres and you get to Wits End Cafe. Nice seating area out the back if the weather is ok. The menu has plenty to choose from and is good quality.

Right by the bridge on the end of the beach. Charming little cafe which opens out at the back to a secluded well kept garden. Lovely coffee, and we'll priced. Staff were friendly and cheerful.

Great little cafe. If you've walked from Whitby, then this little delight will be waiting for you. Great food, a little pricier than we were expecting but the food was decent and hot. There are tables at the back under cover as well as some outdoor tables. There's also toilets too. Fab, will definitely return!

Nice place but horrible hostile female member of staff. Needs a personality transplant. Rude manor definitely in the wrong job. It's a shame she is allowed to spoil a nice place and speak to customers like servants. If we had not had to pay up front we would have walked out. Never to return.

Whilst walking Cleveland Way this cafĂ© is just by the car park and easily missed as you come to down of the cliffs into the village of Sandsend The small frontage of this cafĂ© is deceptive as we went in we were directed to the garden, initialling thinking they do not want us scruffs in the cafĂ©, however when you see the lovely garden with beautiful flowers and large solid wooden tables ( not the wobbly ones). I see why everyone sent to garden. As early in day we opted for a cooked breakfast which for 12GBP thought it was reasonable as included tea and toast. Bacon sandwich’s were about 6 so bit pricier. The breakfast was pleasant The staff a young lad was very pleasant as well as couple of ladies, all very polite and pleasant. As alfresco it was nice no smoking in the garden and when someone was a member of staff politely reminded the person who seemed “exempt” and “entitled” about smoking, then we heard Tripadvisor as a vague threat. Thank you for you no smoking policy, it’s your cafĂ©. We would recommend.

Just to echo the positive reviews here. Great location, dog friendly, happy staff, clean toilets, good range of food options. Our first visit was quite late in the day, close to closing, so no hot food available - a fabulous range of fresh cakes, though. Our visit yesterday was earlier and the soup and sandwich was wonderful. Thumbs up from our daughter on the hot chocolate front, too. Decent car park right next to the cafe, as is the excellent and regular coastal bus stop. If you time it right and visit at low tide the sea is right out and you can have a fascinating exploration for fossils and then nip into the warm for lovely hot food.

Superb latte for me, tub of ice cream for the dog, she didn’t eat it, so I did, got to my last bit and noticed on the side of tub” specially created for dogs” it was lovely, banana flavour, I can’t stop peeing up lampposts now

Dog friendly café with lots of different options catering for all dietary needs. Great coffee and lovely vegan scones amongst a very wide range of cakes and snacks. Didn't check out the meals as it was mid afternoon but if the cakes were anything to go buy, they should be great. Recommended, especially if you're then planning to walk up the hill to Lythe/continue along the Cleveland Way

Called in today for a Panni & sandwich and a cuppa. The Cafe was cozy, the food delicious and the Staff were very professional and friendly. All in all a lovely place to call into for a meal or just a cuppa, including the varied coffee selection. It's dog friendly too inside, and also outside in the cozy walled garden seated area.
