Best steak I've had in a long time. Great service. This restaurant is pricey but worth it!
Delightful setting and delightful food. Walked here from Whitby via the sands and don't doubt we will be doing it again.
Walked from Whitby on a sunny January morning. Wanted a brew and this was open. Had a lovely pot of tea. Looking at the menu on the blackboard enticed us to have lunch. My wife have a fresh crab and I had an open steak sandwich. Both were excellent, my sandwich came with a bowl of homemade fries ( a
We booked in for the East Coast tasting menu - it was amazing! There were food combinations that I could not have dreamt up, and each was delicious. Razor clams with almonds, served on the shell. The monkfish with asparagus was even more wonderful than I imagined (and after it is cooked, is added to
This is a wonderful place in beautiful Sandsend. Many years and many good meals, it is better and more delicious now. We always look forward to lunches here, the food is unbeatable, staff are friendly and welcoming a perfect combination. Well done to all from Chef to plate, you justify many accolade
Fish on Friday... but with a difference. Lovely tasting menu... 9 courses each as delicious as the one before. As a non dessert fan - even the dessert was great. Thanks to all @ bridge cottage bistro for a very enjoyable evening
New Autumn menu today. Had the Mussel Croquettes with Garlic Aioli. Very impressive. When it's busy service does slow down but there is nothing wrong with sitting and having a chat over a drink. Relax, have a drink and enjoy.
Lovely coffee stop, delicious coffee, then booked to go back for lunch which was delicious. Fresh from Sandsend crab, salad and crispy chips and tasty sauce. Will be back. Friendly staff and the weather beautiful!
Went for lunch twice. Delicious food and lovely friendly staff. Been here before and it seems better than ever. Well done everyone. Took home a delicious meringue. Amazing.
Very welcoming restaurant with a range of good value high quality food. Everything is available here from main meals to light bites, beers cafe style and cakes.
Dogs are permitted if they behave themselves which for us is a plus.
Visited here today food was lovely and everyone was very helpful. I had my 2 dogs with me which can make it difficult to order, nip to the WC and get seated appropriately, but they realy made me feel like nothing was too much trouble and made it possible for me to enjoy a lovely lunch... Thankyou!!
Our favourite place to eat on the North Yorkshire Coast. Great for a quick bite during the day, but their East Coast tasting menu on a Friday is worth going out of your way for
Beautiful little restaurant with a small but stunning menu. Complimentary Sourdough bread made fresh with their own culture. Absolutely no complaints...
We had wonderful food tonight. The fish tasting menu was extremely tasty and we will have to come again. Lovely bistro.
We had two excellent coffees (great coffee isn't all that easy to find! ) and a piece of homemade pistachio and rosewater tart, which was fabulous. Lovely little find.
Superb food. Freshly cooked. Menu changes regularly so guaranteed the best produce. Great value for money and lovely staff.
