Brown's - Sandown - Photo album

My favourite place to go on the island since I was little! Amazing family run pitch and putt course. 4 different types of courses for all ages and abilities. Free parking and cafe on site over looking the course/ beach. Staff are very welcoming and friendly.
We had a lovely lunch here before hunting for fossils along the coast. The cafe is really relaxing with a glass roof that housed a pumping station during the war and now keeps the cafe cosy on cold or blustery days. Great options for the kids, they loved the milk shakes. The coffee is great and the
Decent pitch and putt courses, friendly staff, not too expensive. Not very busy these days, might have seen better days but still worth it for a round or two.
First time I have been here as meeting a friend who suggested the location. Previous I have simply just drove by! Nice location overlooking the golf course and friendly staff and service with a good selection of drinks and food. Free parking for the cafe and golf course. Was informed that the loca
8 of us had a great afternoon here. Played the blue course, which was a bit rough, but just added to the challenge. Will be back.
Been here a few times. Not expensive to do pitch and putt but the ground need a bit of tlc. The hot summer didn't help though. Staff were friendly. Had drinks and ice cream ...not too expensive. Good fun and reasonable size. Three different courses to choose from. Good fun.
Great little cafe out the back in a nice old conservatory. Great if it's raining, or sitting on the benches on a sunny day. A lot better than the looking than from the front.
Good choice of 2 putting greens and 2 pitch and putt courses. Also you can buy a day pass that allows you to play on all 4 as much as you want. The course was in a fairly good condition, especially as there had been a drought this summer. There is a cafe adjacent to the clubhouse. Only downside is
Very friendly staff, a good round of golf followed by an ice cold beer. What's not to like.
So Mrs H and I popped out to Brown's for our annual putting championship. Eighteen hard fought holes in the blazing sunshine. Haven't seen the place so well kept for years. The new proprietors are doing a brilliant job with the course in great shape and the ice cream as good as ever. A great way to
Such a delight to find Browns looking so good & open for business! Just a quick cuppa, lovely cake and a chat on this visit, but look forward to returning 😎👍
Really friendly and welcoming. Well kept grounds. A really enjoyable experience. We were so glad Brown's was up and running again and it was great to hear that it is back in the family after all this time. We always have a pitch and putt here when holidaying on the island. Thanks very much.
Well maintained, public, two 9 hole pitch and putt courses. The staff are friendly and looked like they enjoy their work. Café serves hot and cold drinks with cake.
Visited Browns today for the first time in a long time. It was a great couple of hours playing pitch and putt followed by drinks/ice-cream. Definitely recommend to go here on a sunny day. Even got to see the lion and tiger in the zoo next door from the course
Lovely cafe , great cream tea, dog friendly and kind staff
Lovely polite people serving, very clean and tidy seating area. As for the food, it is nice to see that vegans and gluten free are catered for. The vegan cheesecake was gorgeous as was the gluten free carrot cake. Can't wait to go back.
Great selection of pitch and putting for everyone. Various courses to suit everyone and time they have. Great cafe onsite too but was currently only serving coffee & cake otherwise would have had 5 stars. Great location, car park and good value definitely recommend
