We were greeted with a smile and a friendly member of staff, menus are the perfect size and not spending ages to choose. Food was insane, portions were so good to the price, great atmosphere.

What a lovely pub. Staff are so friendly & the food is amazing. You may have to wait a while for it to be served as its cooked fresh, but it's well worth the wait. Prices are very good as well. Highly recommended 👌

Hired the Crown for my birthday party and it couldn’t have gone better. Charlotte and the team were fantastic from start to finish. Would definitely recommend for a private hire.

We've been here a few times for drinks and decided to give the food a go, well let's just say it was worth it! My only fault was my peri peri chicken burger had no peri peri in or on it but as a chicken burger it was very nice. The other guys enjoyed their food and service was excellent

Got to be one of the best Sunday Roasts in Essex. Home cooked and no ping ping meals here. The pudding was just as good!!! Staff very attentive, great atmosphere and not rushed. Will be going back again and again. Oh and not forgetting the price, very reasonable.

Food and service are excellent however be prepared to wait. Between arriving and getting our food it took 1hr 25. It is all cooked to order and almost worth the wait.
