Sandgate Vaults - Sandgate - Photo album

Best value for money Sunday lunch locally. The food is well cooked the staff friendly and very atmospheric in the vaults. Sunday is particularly busy understandably and the staff can be very occupied, but much better than being shovelled out as soon as possible as in some restaurants. In the week th
A warm welcome on our second visit and not disappointed by the quality of the food and its preparation. All staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Assumed I'd rated this place already. Ready friendly, very decent, great prices. These guys have got it right. Can see the effort and work that is put in to running this place. A must visit if in Sandgate. Good idea to book in advance.
We took Dad here for a birthday lunch, today. The Sunday roast was really good with generous portion sizes and the chocolate Bailey's cheesecake was delicious. For five the bill was also reasonable!
Went along with a group of friends, lovely food, lovely quirky place to eat and drink downstairs. Upstairs is so different. Staff very friendly and attentive. Would recommend. Good prices for food and drink.
3rd time eating here ,And it's been absolutely fantastic all three times there's little coves down stairs which makes it pleasant when eating as a couple or a full table of quess you can have a lovely natter without hearing the other tables, the menu has plenty to choose from and the staff are very
We popped-in for our first visit on Saturday afternoon, after a long, chilly walk from Hythe. We took a table upstairs which was nice & bright due to the large front windows; downstairs in the cellar was a bit dark for us for a mid-day meal. I had cod & chips with peas, my wife had chicken breast in
We had a delicious Sunday roast, really good value and portion size! Super friendly service and lovely atmosphere, we would highly recommend
A very interesting restaurant in Sandgate - but in a good way! The ground floor, where we ate, is a bright and airy space - almost like a showroom. But the basement (vaults) - a variety of spaces - is decorated very differently. The food, on our visit, was good but the service was excellent. Th
What a brilliant place . Great staff lovely manager really good chef's the meals were 100% tasty home cooked . Would highly recommend.
The Sandgate Vaults is somewhere we have walked past a hundred times and never tried but tonight we did and were not disappointed, the food was very good and the service was great. This is a restaurant of two halves upstairs light and modern, downstairs in the vaults is a bit more cosy and intimate.
The owner welcoming and managed to squeeze us in, even though we hadn't booked on a Sunday lunch time! The food was soooo good, Sunday lunch was amazing. Warm and cosy, really friendly staff and atmosphere. Definitely will be going back!
Absolutely love The Sandgate Vaults, Diane and her team are incredibly welcoming and provide great service. The staff showed good knowledge of the drinks and food, especially the new waitress who was on her first night; she and the other waitress were well presented, friendly, and attentive. The atm
I have been a resident of sandgate for 5 years and this place is cozy and consistent. I highly recommend for a Sunday lunch and I come here for most occasions
We had a great meal here last night for my wife's birthday. It was Pie night....downstairs was really cosy and warm with a nice atmosphere. They even remembered it was her birthday and put a candle on the desert which was a really nice touch. We will definitely be back :-)
Went for Sunday lunch. Great value at only £10 for roast. Beef was tender and perfectly cooked, Yorkshire were some of the best I've eaten. Starters and desserts are also available at around £6 each.
Went here for a few drinks with friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere downstairs.
