A nice welcome from the staff, which was entertaining listening to their banter, with Ukrainian staff too. Our food was hot, and well presented, with a nice coffee blend. There’s seating both inside, and outside, with a nice wee sun trap facing south. Not too expensive either, so we don’t think twice about popping back in here. Recommended for breakfast or lunch, last hot food orders are 1430Hrs.

Popped in with friends for some lunch during a short stay in Toward. Unfortunately, my bacon and scrambled egg roll was served after a prompt and after everyone else had just about finished! It was, however, worth the wait! It's very tasty. Paninis and burgers were recommended. Excellent service, location and atmosphere, apart from a minor blip. Highly recommended and will make a return visit.

We had Sunday morning full English breakfast, it was excellent, all very fresh and good quality products. Value for money for sure. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Decidedly the best breakfast one can get on the Cowal Peninsula! Friendly service, everything is deliciously cooked, and the pretty teapots that tea is served in are a lovely touch too 🫖 while we were berthed in the marina over the winter, we came to eat here 2-3 times a week (and it was a struggle not to do so everyday!).

Had one of the best breakfasts ever today. The black pudding was lovely and moist and the bacon was cooked to perfection as were the eggs and tomatoes. Great value for money for a full Scottish breakfast. The Americano coffee that came with it was a great brew too. We asked for hot milk with our coffee and this came with a smile! Staff very friendly and welcoming. Loved the board with all the dog pictures on too. Definitely going to go back again.

Had a quick Sunday morning stop here for takeaway sarnies before catching the ferry. Lovely place, really quick service, tasty food and a friendly bunch. Best scones I've seen in ages and will be back to try them next time we're there! Menu was good. Little second hand book swap/buy looked great with good selection of books. Would recommend this place.
