My husband and I went to Kans early last Sunday evening after a very long drive home from The New Forest. We ordered one of the banquet meals - it was outstanding. I loved that the starters tasted and looked homemade. The beef curry samosas were so good! The duck was shredded at the table, and the main courses were delicious. My husband and I go to China Town a lot, and Kans is the best on quality and price. We shall be back!! The service was very good and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.
I used this restaurant to grab a last minute dinner as I was booked into a nearby campsite. The food was incredible and plentiful and SO fresh. I'd highly recommend this place for great food.
1st visit to Kan's. Booked on the day and they fitted us in despite being quite busy in the restaurant and with take aways. We went at 6pm on a Saturday. Service was good, food was great, we didn't wait long to be served. Will definitely go back!

I ordered food as take out. The food and service was very good. They could do better with packing food to go as it leaked out of the containers in transit. Besides that, it was probably some of the best restaurant Chinese food we've had. I would definitely recommend it. I think we'll eat in next time!

Been several times in the last few weeks. Excellent choice, warm friendly atmosphere, reasonably priced. Staff are lovely nothing is too much trouble I. hghly recommend and can't wait for our next visit.
First time here, service was spot on, tried the set menu A which we wouldn't usually do
Pleasantly surprised at how much we were able to eat! Bit of a wait inbetween courses which was timed well, without it we'd have struggled to fit it all in, every course was well cooked and tasty
Didn't have to wait long to be asked if we wanted more drinks after glasses were empty

I went to Kan's for a family meal to celebrate mine and my twin sisters birthday! I have never had such a wonderful Chinese meal!
The food was absolutely beautiful, everything tasted so fresh. On the starter the prawn crackers and spring roll pastry was the finest most crispy and fragile I've ever had. We had the special banquet A for 6 people and each of the 6 different main dishes were so tasty and a great size. The service was so quick and friendly despite being busy, the restaurant was really well spaced for social distancing with a one way system marked on the floor, hand gel at doors and staff wearing visors.
The staff were so wonderful, friendly and welcoming. I even enquired about one of the beautiful pieces of art on the wall and the lady went to so much effort to translate it's name for me and explain what was happening in it. I wish I got her name because she really made my day and I was so grateful to her for going to so much effort.
I can't rate this restaurant enough and can't wait to go back! You must visit if you're in the area. Thanks Kan's for a lovely end to our birthday :) x
Popped in late on Boxing Day and was served quickly and by friendly staff . Had a lovely crispy chilli beef to take away . They were busy with orders and you can see why as the food was lovely
Been here several times as part of a large group (Christmas party) and a small group / couple.
We've always found the food to be excellent quality - well prepared and nicely presented. The staff usually give the option nof using rice bowls / chopsticks, or plate and fork - it's nice to have the choice depending on your proficiency with chopsticks! There are usually food warmers provided as well, which is excellent if you don't tend to pile everything on your plate at once! We've never had an issue with the food going cold.
The prices can appear high at fist glance, but the portion sizes are very generous. One portion of rice is more than sufficient for two people, and the main dishes are big enough to fill even the biggest appetite.
The staff are absolutely lovely, very conscientious - and always provide service with a smile! All in all, a lovely restaurant, and very much looking forward to my next visit!
Having tried several local Chinese restaurants Kans has to be my favourite. The food is amazing and the staff are friendly and knowledge about the menu. As lockdown eased and restaurants reopened this had to be our first choice and we were not disappointed. So many dishes to recommend from the crispy shredded lamb to the noodles with beansprouts I've never had a bad mouthful. Highly recommended.
Best Chinese restaurant we've ever been to. Food and service were first class.
Had booked for 2 last night expecting it to be quiet. Couple of walk ins and a couple booked so nice to see people out. Food delicious, piping hot and fresh. Be back soon.
Have been 5 or 6 times amazing food love hot sour soup duck Singapore kung po special very attentive clean and served hot love it allways made welcome
