I visited for the second time today - the staff are lovely, there's always a good variety of bread, and it is at a reasonable price! Highly recommended.

You just have to read a couple of reviews to realise that this is some of the best bread you'll find; we picked up 3 different types today, as well as some frozen pizza dough for the pizza oven when the sun next cones out .... White sourdough, mixed fruit loaf & salt/rosemary focaccia, & every one knocked the ball out of the park 🙂. Stunning bread from a local artisan bakehouse that clearly loves what they do best.

My best discovery for a long time. Beautiful bread! Not cheap, but worth paying extra for a premium product like this. Just wish they made a brown/ wholemeal bread as well. A great idea to put the village hall to such good use.

Real honest no frills artisan sourdough locally made... having come across their bread in a shop in mackersfield we hunted down the source and we're lucky enough to get some in the bakery as they distribute to shops primarily. we purchased a beautiful olive infused bloomer and a normal white sourdough and we're thrilled with it.. real wholesome fresh taste that takes me back to my childhood when they didn't add tonnes of preservatives and chemicals.. I took a list of shops they sell to and we went to one the following week and sadly that shop sold us stale (over 2-3 days old bread) and had we not know the bakery made excellent bread this would have put us off.. we will shop at shops that keep their stock fresh from. now on or buy direct... 100% recommend their bread just be aware what outlet you trust especially the so called premium farm shops who can cod u in buying stale bread..

Been meaning to call here since I'd heard about it five months ago. Follow instructions - basket, choose bread, ring bell. A variety of breads, prices similar to 'outside' establishments. Will definitely go again.
