Popped in for lunch on a day out...excellent food served piping hot. What a treat to be served a plate full of vegetables alongside our steak pie (plus a bowl of chips and a jug of gravy each), we are so used to having to ask for vegetables and usually having to pay extra for a tiny serving of veg that we were amazed. These are meals the way they should be served! Well done TBH.

The Bull's Head is a brilliant pub. The real ale selection is some of the finest to be found locally. The twice monthly singaround sessions feature some of the best musicians in the area. Food is great and reasonably priced. The staff give a friendly welcome! Who could ask for more?

Love it here, we eat here at least once a month. I always leave very sated and happy. Food lovely and well cooked and great menu, lots of choice. Sharon, Ian, Jake and Gemma are lovely. I'm a bit bias as I've been dining here for years. Our son works here too. X

Pub on a main road a few miles from a junction on the M6 so if you want a break, not at a service station this is good. Decor old fashioned. Toilets would benefit from more often cleaning. Staff were friendly. Food was excellent and their main dishes have reduced portions options if you want a light meal. Good idea. Had mango chicken which was delicious. Ask if you want salad instead of chips for example, they will do this.

Not been here for a while. Original setting pub. Large conservatory and outside area. Varied menu incl smaller portions. Partner had steak pie, chips and gravy and I had smaller portion fish and chips. Very nice. Took the pug too.

One of the best pubs ever! The staff is friendly, polite, absolutely amazing! And what I can said about the home made food… It’s just scrumptious 😋 , with lots of flavours! you will really taste the freshness of the ingredients, big portions and option to small portions (if you require). Love the decorations, big garden, conservatory and plus for this chilly weather a cozy chimney! Just thanks The bulls Head

Good food at reasonable prices in a welcoming country pub. Had a great Sunday lunch in a traditional environment, with good sized portions (as well as a sensible smaller option for those with less appetite). Would recommend.

It's always a pleasure to visit here. Great homemade food, good-sized portions, well priced. They stock a varied range of local and independent brewery beers and lagers, as well as wines, spirits, and soft drinks. The newly refurbished beer garden and play areas are a real asset, especially during this prolonged spell of fabulous summer weather we're having. Plenty of parking available. Although, when very busy, for larger cars, some spaces don't allow much 'wiggle room' As for the hosts..... genuine, friendly, and welcoming, are just a few positives. Recommend a visit.

Having been let down last minute at a nearby pub, we rang the bulls head and asked if there was any chance they could fit 18 people in for a 60th wedding anniversary in ten minutes time as we were around the corner. The staff were completely unfazed by this and welcomed us with open arms, the food was lovely and the service was absolutely brilliant. We cannot thankyou enough for accommodating us at such short notice and turning a disaster into a brilliant night, well done.

A very traditional 300 year-old English pub complete with roaring wood fireplace. The Bulls head is known locally for its excellent home-cooked food. Steeped in local history, this interesting warren of connected rooms began as a smithy and later as a coaching house on the London to Liverpool main road. There are even a couple of grizzly murders to ponder on as you tuck into your generous meal. The Bull's Head is well worth adding to your list of great places to eat in South East Cheshire.

We went today for Mothers day, my request was a nice country pub so hubby chose here, we had never been before but we will certainly be back the food was beautiful, steak cooked to perfection of what we asked(medium) and the place its self is lovely with all the old features a 300 year old place should have, so cosy and welcoming . All the staff were lovely and pleasant also. Thanks everyone we will see you soon x
