Wow had our Wedding Reception here on August 6th, & what a perfect venue, Sandra Prescott is a Wedding organiser whom is so on top of her game. Food was perfect, it just so happens one of the usher's was a chef aboard Tall Ships for fifteen years and he commented on the food as being equal if not better than anything he had ever tasted, (even his own) The venue was perfect for us very intimate and a great atmosphere helped by such professional and happy friendly staff. We retired to our Pod for which i highly recommend to all to awaken to the beautiful views over the 18th green and a fantastic breakfast for all our guests that stayed with us. With the forthcoming Take That Tribute arriving at Malkins shortly i can quote Mr Barlow, as this Venue and everyone involved as being "Absolutely Fantastic" Many Thanks Mr & Mrs Day xxxxxx

After a long canal side walk with 2 dogs, we stopped for brunch and a pot of tea. Very restful and a lovely breakfast.
My husband and I had our wedding reception here on Saturday 30th July 2016. What can I say, it was a perfect day! During the run up to the big day, Sandra was absolutely fantastic and nothing was too much trouble! The room, service, food, DJ...everything about the day was amazing and we couldn't recommend getting married here highly enough! Thank you to Sandra and all of the staff at Malkins for making our day so perfect!!
Stayed over in the pods, two games of golf one Saturday followed by evening meal and a game of golf Sunday after a full breakfast, we were very well looked after, and the pods were nice and clean, this is the second year for our society of 8 and everyone enjoyed it, Thankyou for an enjoyable stay, Dave Bam

I had the honour of being a bridesmaid for my best friend this weekend at Malkins Bank. Thank you for making their day so perfect! The wedding reception room was beautiful, the food was lovely, staff were great and the drinks are very reasonably priced! We also stayed in one of the new pods which was great! So clean and comfortable! Highly recommended x
What can i say, just returned from a belting weekend, excellent facilities,very friendly staff and the pods are second to none. £79.00 for 2 rounds of golf bed breakfast and evening meal is an absolute bargain all 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed every minute and hot weather to boot.

We called in to try their Sunday roast whilst out for a walk. This turned out to be a good decision as it was excellent. The vegetables were fresh (so often they are frozen 😔) plenty of gravy and the hole meal was hot.
Well worth the money.
£10 for a game on a Saturday, this was way underpriced as the course was in great condition. There even was a halfway house with beers and sandwiches!
Great course, tough.....but I was c**p! Food n drink I was better at, very welcoming.
Just called in as a non member for a light lunch, which was recommended. We wern't disappointed, good menu, freshly prepared delicious food, good selection of hot & cold drinks. Excellent value.
Fantastic course, great layout, a mixture of shots needed off the tees to hit low scores. Played this course as a guest most of the year
Rewarding to hit the fairways in the summer, trees are there to punish bad shots. Leaves everywhere this time of year but that's autumn golf for you! Friendly members on course and great staff if the pro shop. Happy to go back time and time again as value for money is excellent. 👍

Me and my brother in law play here a couple of times a month we love the place can’t understand why it’s not busier, the course is lovely people welcoming and the double cheese burger with bacon is awsome
Lovely friendly welcome place to visit, even when not playing golf. Staff are very helpful and accomplished. It was a new experience to me being out the city, walk along the canal to the local pub, staying in a small wooden pod overlooking the 18th hole compared to a 5 star hotel in Manchester I would choose this place every time. It's exactly what you need after a stressful year and work load. Thank you very much Malkins, will definitely be coming back again.

We stayed at Malkins Bank over the weekend for a double birthday celebration.
The pods are fantastic with beautiful views over the course and both of us had a great nights sleep.
The clubhouse has a brilliant relaxed atmosphere. We were lucky enough to stay over when there was a Mexican food night on. The food and entertainment were spot on.
We had the full English in the morning, which really helped reduce the effects of the night before. Everything was beautifully cooked, with a fresh pot of coffee and fruit juice.
All the staff were very good and very helpful. They simply could not have done more to make sure you had a great stay.
The course it’s self was in great condition and a real challenge for players of all abilities.
We could not have had a better time and are already planning our next visit.

Great value for money. Stayed in one of the pods. Very clean with comfortable beds. Food was good, and drinks at the bar, very reasonably priced. The course is well worth playing with well contoured greens and some great par 3's. The fairways are a well trodden and a little sparse in places, but this is understandable due to how popular this venue appears to be. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Malkins Bank is well worth a visit.
