Went for breakfast this morning, reasonably priced, nice portion size, polite friendly staff, please can we have Gluten Free Sausages? we can live without hash browns and toast :)

It’s a spoons but more importantly using the app is great. I text my kids and said I was sat at table 40 and the sent me a beer. I basically had 3 pints for £2. Can it get better than that? The beer is cold and it was for the most part, free. 😁

One of the better Spoons - great choice of cask ales - was torn between the Pacific and the Citra. Gents toilets well worth a visit - very tastefully restored.

Comfortable and good value Wetherspoons pub in the town centre, an old pub now a Spoons, so has a nice feel. Newer bit at the back. Clean and well run, great for a mid morning coffee or breakfast, or lunch without having to pay a fortune.

Unfortunately the chips with the burger were barely warm when served but the waitress kindly heated them up or requested a fresh batch

A cut above as Weatherspoons pubs go.. the full English breakfast was very good for the price.

Had some food here. Was busy but found a table, requested it be cleared and wiped when ordering the food and it was done straight away. Food took about 15 minutes to come out. Good service. Quality was standard wetherspoons affair, you know what you're getting, but it's a good price. Will go again

Interesting old coaching Inn repurposed as a Weatherspoon. Meals are always good value, especially Lemon & herb chicken

This is a Wetherspoons. It gives a consistent product. Food is always as expected, service fast and pleasant. Never had a bad steak! Back again with friends!

Changed a bit since my days of naughtiness in the George in the early 1990's.... (I moved away in 1998, first time back) however, a really good Spoons this one. Good staff, food was hot and the beer cheap. 5/5

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, had a nice smooth pint of Guinness and an all day brunch. The food was very good quality and really reasonably priced. I would have happily paid a little more actually. The service was very prompt too, the staff actually couldn't have been more helpful.

A Wetherspoon’s pub which serves food until 11pm. The food isn’t going to win any Michelin stars but is usually pretty good, with decent sized portions and incredible value for money. We’ve never had a problem getting a table and once ordered on the app it comes out promptly. The staff are a friendly bunch too.
