Complete new team in the kitchens here, all three chefs have worked together before at a first class hotel/banqueting venue locally. A step change in quality and consistency. Great consistently good quality food, uncomplicated menu with a focus on flavour. Really worth trying.

First time visit to the Blue Bell for our 34th wedding anniversary lunch. Lovely venue with great wide ranging menu to suit all pockets. Courteous and prompt service and good sized portions. Very nice atmosphere and with so much choice on the menu we will be back again.

I have dined in all the pubs in the Sandbach/Congleton area and found them mostly bland and boring, however the BlueBell Inn is in a different category. It is as good as a lot of so called top restaurants. The food was fresh and beautifully cooked and served with a smile from the friendly staff. I will certainly be taking friends as this is at the moment a hidden delight.

Great pub with a fantastic garden and play area. Staff really friendly and dealt well with a milk intolerance. Felt very welcome. Interior slightly dated but I’m sure this will be sorted soon, as it has recently been taken over by new owners that are well know for brilliant interiors.

Fantastic family friendly country pub, great food, quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Kids loved fort smallwood too! Kept them quiet while we had a beer in the sun! The beer garden is beautiful

Lovely evening, very busy as good weather contributed to the outside area being very busy and the play area for children busy as they enjoyed the good weather. Meals were good and Staff very friendly and welcoming.

I was looking for a country pub, with children's play area, and great food, for a late afternoon/early dinner outing with our daughter and family. What a find. Our grandchildren safely pottered about the garden/play area with lots of others, whilst parents (and grandparents) ate, drank and chatted to other like minded people. Food was great, and a thoroughly lovely experience.

Wonderful country pub with excellent food and drink. Fabulous beer garden that has recently had some new garden furniture. It's a great place for a nice quiet beer, and for those sunny days, it's wonderful. Overall I've not got a bad word to say about this lovely little pub.

Stopped off for lunch today, I had the mackerel patè for starter and it was amazing. I then had the cod and chips for main and fish was brilliant. Great service from the friendly staff. Will definitely be returning

The new Fort Smallwood is great for the kids, the beer garden is done to a high standard and all the family enjoyed their food incredibly... it's got a homely aesthetic instead and the staff were very accommodating and welcoming. Quickly becoming a favourite haunt of mine when with the kids. Nice one the Bluebell!

Great food - very rich. Good local ale. I hope the future reform of the place doesn't ruin the rural atmosphere

Lovely food and drinks in the garden while the kids had a play in the new play area. Service was good with regular staff visiting the beer garden to clear away empties etc.
