Came on a day out to Saltburn on the train. Took a walk down to the beach where we found this fish and chips shop.

Second visit here and have tried various fish & chips in the area. They are tasty and there’s plenty of cod in the portion with a light batter - comparing it to another local takeaway I’d say Cat Nab is definitely better value and superior in taste.

Large portions and really tasty.
We love bringing the dog with us to run on the beach and treat ourselves to fish and chips and ice creams when it's warmer. Dogs welcome in the outside seating area.

Spent yesterday in saltburn with our granddaughter (teachers on strike)! Ended up in cat nab fish restaurant. I have to say that we had the best food and service ever. Staff were lovely, really welcoming and friendly. Service was really prompt. The premises were beautifully clean and the staff well
Arrived at CatNab after a long ride over the moors. Hungry I ordered fish and chips, to say it was delicious does not do it justice. The service was both friendly and efficient so top marks, CatNab is well worth a visit and I'll be returning soon.
