Went for the cream tea with some friends. Lovely welcoming atmosphere, fabulous value for money, quality products, lovely experience, would highly recommend.

I have just eaten THE best sausage sandwich a taste sensation, I came across this fabulous place yesterday and I was looking forward to eating here my local friends recommended it I was not disappointed... Lovely surroundings inside and out, comfortable, staff very welcoming and helpful. We arrived with 20mth old twins. Relaxed atmosphere and lovely food plus homemade baking to purchase. Will definitely return.

There was a delay in getting the food to us, as they were having trouble making the hollandaise sauce for my eggs Benedict. The staff were attentive and offered me poached eggs if I didn't want to wait. It was definitely worth the wait the food was superb. The surroundings of the establishment were to die for. Highly recommended. Would be 5 stars if not for the delay.
This place is excellent café / bistro for food and drink. It also had a little antique area where you can have a little browse. It is set in the grounds of Seaton hall, and is a very comfortable place, not what you would expect with the name barn owl café, as it is much more. The breakfast we had was one of the best we have had in a while, and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend paying a visit and sampling the food and atmosphere.
