Lovely hidden gem. Great vintage atmosphere inside, amazing views from the outdoor tables with lots of wildlife like birds and squirrels bobbing around the tables. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Hot chocolate and the home made victoria sponge were amazing, and really cheap considering the location.

Delightful find. Wonderfully quaint tearoom with fabulous staff. I had my dog with me and they couldn’t be more helpful or welcoming. Even held my dog so I could go to the toilet unhindered. Many thanks.

Lovely tea rooms in a beautiful, tranquil spot. We stopped here for a drink and a piece of cake after getting off the the miniature railway. We sat outside enjoying the good weather and it was a lovely way to round off a fantastic day in Saltburn. Cake portions were very generous (two pieces between the three of us would have been plenty) and all delicious, I recommend the fruit cake in particular. I was also very happy to be told all the cakes that day were dairy free. We ordered cold drinks because it was a warm day so I can't comment on the hot drinks but plenty of others around were drinking tea. Also spotted several people buying ice creams. They can only accept cash (no card payments) but there were plenty of signs in the surrounding area advertising this, so be sure to get some cash out in Saltburn before visiting :)

We had a great visit at the tea room... excellent selection of cakes. All of the food we purchased was really nice. The fruit cake was one of the best I've tasted. The owner was warm and welcoming. Definitely be back again. Thank you very much.

Lovely little cafe with a small friendly team of staff. There were even 3 gluten free options of cake/ cookie. Cold drinks and hot drinks. Either in takeaway cups or China. A small selection of sandwiches (I think they also said gluten free bread available? But double check) Customer toilet. Vintage style interior. I love to visit this cafe. They are so friendly and welcoming. I'm not sure if there is any indoor seating. I've only been when it is nice enough yo sit outside. Dog water available too.

Quaint and comfortable tea room. Books and old records to browse and buy. Lovely cakes and refreshments served by pleasant staff, and enjoyed in a secluded shaded garden, amongst squirrels, robins and blackbirds. Highly recommended.

Awesome place! Outside seating that's great for dog walkers, with lovely staff and nice view. One one gluten free option for food, which was a macaroon, but my partner had the lemon drizzle and he loved it. He had a moccha when I had a hot chocolate special and it was great. Can't wait to go back. It really adds something lovely to such a serene walk

Despite having walked through the gardens many times this was our first time at the tea rooms & I wish we had found it sooner! Lovely guy serving, delicious cake & tea what more do you need. Very sheltered despite being a blustery day, also a very clean toilet. Well worth a visit, thank you.

A fantastic cafe with lots of choice for everyone. Being vegan it's sometimes difficult eating out but at the Valley Gardens I had several choices plus cake and non dairy milk for my tea. A beautiful location in the park, dogs are very welcome too. A definite must visit!
