Conveniently located cafe overlooking Sandsend beach with seating inside and out. Extensive menu, although on this occasion we only had hot drinks and a selection of cakes that were all delicious. An extra bonus were homemade cakes for our four-legged companion, which by its speedy consumption was as equally tasty. Staff friendly and welcoming, and parking close by.

Visited here twice in as many days! The breakfast was delicious: veggie sausages, masses of scrambled egg, toast and butter. Freshly cooked and set me up for the day. The staff were really friendly and efficient. Doggy friendly too!!

A very pleasant cafe at the side of the beach. I had a crab salad which was extremely fresh and very tasty. The regular coffee was more small than regular however overall reasonable value for money and dog friendly.

Lovely cafe. We always go there for breakfast whenever we are in Whitby. The food is fabulous and the serving staff are warm and friendly. Oh, and the views aren't bad either [the name is absolutely spot on - the cafe is right by the sand side]

Lovely cafe - home made cakes and scones that always delight and a friendly vibe. The outdoor terrace is wonderful - views of the beach and the sea and sheltered from any fresh sea breeze. We'll worth a visit as z rewards after a lovely coastal walk.

Always great food, can get a little busy round midday but worth a visit if you're down that way, exquisite views too!

Very popular cafe serving in addition to the usual offering bistro type meals. There seems to be more space at the far end which also has views over the beach. Service was good with more servers which was good as reduced waiting time at the counter. Good location and selection of cakes and sandwiches and much more doing well with the C19 as they have outside space with views over the sea. No toilet access at the moment but Saltburn has good facilities at both ends of the village.

We used to come here every year until my grandma passed away. We finally braved coming back to have lunch before spreading her ashes and it’s as cosy as we remembered. The food was delicious and the pricing very good for where it is. The outdoor seating has a lovely view and the facilities are well maintained. The ONLY downside was the lady serving us was quite rude, it was a relatively busy day but service with a smile doesn’t go unnoticed. Every other member of staff we interacted with was pleasant though.

Excellent 👌 bacon sandwich (white bread cake / barm cake) extremely freshly baked, bacon done to perfection would definitely recommend several visits! Closed 4th December to 8th December for essential maintenance.

A delightful cafe. I love that the waitress warmed the latte cups before pouring our coffee in. It stayed hot for ages! just what we needed on a windy seaside day :)

Lovely cafe on the waterfront. Outdoor seating due to covid, felt safe. The clear screens really keeps the wind off as well so it’s enjoyable to eat outside rather just endure it! Also allows you to have a great view of the water. Toilets weren’t open so you have to use the public ones down the road (April 2021). We had the fish tacos and pulled pork bun from the specials board to share between the two of us. They were really tasty but the fish tacos were really spicy so we didn’t enjoy them as much as we had hoped. We’ve been before (in normal times!) and always enjoyed the food. Paninis and cakes particularly tasty.
