Had two meals over two evenings. Nice friendly atmosphere. The publican was very happy for dogs and children to be present. Even handed out treats to our dog.
Pizza and seafood pasta was really enjoyed on the first night.
Second night, guiness steak pie and the best chunky chips I've ever tasted. Lo

Went on Tuesday evening which is Pizza and Pasta night. Had the prosciutto pizza which was absolutely delicious. Proper Italian style pizza, cooked to perfection and have to say it was one of the best pizza's I have had in a long time. If your in the area I would definitely recommend The Badger Houn
Had a lovely meal it was Tuesday so pizza pasta Parma night. Hubbys pizza was great I have never tried Parma and it was lovely got the smaller portion and it was very ample. good service from staff nice friendly pub x
Stayed in Runswick twice now , went here once again + had a really good meal .
Fish pie is amazing, all food freshly cooked . Service good . Chilled out place .

We ate here twice, owners and staff all very welcoming, lovely atmosphere and a mix of holidaymakers (like us) &locals. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back next year. We were camping so can't rate the accommodation.
Absolutely beautiful food and the chef made a toddler sized portion of the chicken dinner for my little boy, colouring books provided for the kids. Fantastic friendly service and our meals came so quickly. Gorgeous!!
The food here is exceptional, the portions are huge and everything is very well priced. It's really worth the trip.
We hadn't booked a table Friday when we arrived. But a kind lady offered us her table when she'd finished her meal. We waited at the bar drinking and getting to know the landlord. He and landlady were very helpful and a good laugh too. We had a gorgeous meal Friday and a absolutely beautiful Sunday
Went for 1 pint today which turned into 5 as it was very comfortable and was greeted with this
smile. Very welcoming and a very good pint too. Toilets were spotless, if your here would highly recommend popping in for a drink.
Just been for Sunday lunch at the Badger Hounds and it was absolutely delicious. Well cooked, well presented, plentiful and tasty. We couldn't fault it and would definitely recommend 😋
We had a great meal on Thursday evening. 2 of us eat meat and 1 was a vegetarian. Super service all meals came at the same time, piping hot. Amazing because the 3 meals were so different. We will go again when we visit Hinderwell

Everybody else in my group had pizza, but I had the gammon! Huge portions, and absolutely gorgeous food. Coming from the Midlands I've noticed the food and portions are brilliant all around this neck of the woods. Great service and friendly people.

A fantastic pub. The food is not only beautiful but you get plenty and it is very competitively priced. The chef is excellent. We had meals two nights running, and each element of the dishes was superb. My Wife and I have never had better pub food, I rate it that highly.
