We had a lovely time at The Kings Grill for a baby shower. The food was superb! Probably the best buffet I’ve had and excellent value for money. The staff were very professional and friendly. They were on hand throughout the day to help in any way, they couldn’t do enough for us. I would highly recommend The a kings Grill for a party or gathering and will be going back in the future.
A really big thank you to Greg, Sandy and the guys at Kings Grill for helping to make my surprise birthday lunch so special and a huge thank you to the kitchen staff for all the truly delicious meals they made for us. I couldn't have asked for a better day or a nicer place to celebrate!
Have been visiting the Kings Grill since it was above the Victoria pub, we went on Saturday to celebrate my husband's birthday, we weren't disappointed. The food is always cooked to perfection, the staff are attentive and friendly with excellent memories too as they recite all the specials! The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed. We always recommend this little gem to friends and family. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Warm welcome; attentive service, great steaks and chunky chips but also a varied and interesting menu, supplemented by daily specials.
Kings Grill has restricted opening times but sits inside Rapps Café - open for breakfasts, lunches and dinner. Although slightly more relaxed, still the same high standards for food, presentation and service.
Another great reason to visit Saltburn!
I visited with my husband and 12 year old son, we had a lovely evening. Food spot on, so hard to choose a dish as the choice was great! Not too many dishes just classic cuisine.
We only had a starter and main as we was too full up for desert. Staff attentive and very friendly. An absolute gem. We will definitely be back when we visit the area again.

Celebrating my wife's 50th birthday there were 13 of us in our own room downstairs. food and atmosphere was fabulous. Thank-you Greg and all the staff for a great night yet again.
Beautiful meal. We have visited rapps cafe during the day whilst in salrburn and thoroughly enjoyed it. Tonight we dined in The Kings Grill. The food was divine...service was prompt but relaxed also..we will be back with more people �

Last night I had the haggis and goat's cheese starter, trio of pork main (loin, belly and a breaded patty) and the sticky toffee pudding with ginger ice cream. Every course was excellent. My only criticism is that I would really like some more vegetables with the main course.

From entering to leaving staff were attentive but not intrusive.

Wonderful restaurant, superb food and friendly staff. One of the best in the Teesside area.
We ate here for my friends birthday and all I can say was that the food was absolutely fantastic. The service was brilliant and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The steak I had was cooked to order and perfection. The presentation was brilliant and to die for. The atmosphere is delightful and the menu very extensive. The prices are very competitive. It's definitely not to be missed.
I have heard so many good reviews about this place and finally had the chance to visit.
O boy, I wasn't disappointed to say the least.
Saltburn has the luxury of many small but great businesses and this one is most definitely at the top of the list.
From the initial call to make the reservation, you got a feeling of pleasantry.

Was sceptical of the glowing reviews but thought I'd give it a try.
I can only say the reviews are UNDERSTATING just how good this place is.
The attention to detail, the quality of the ingredients, the friendliness and attitude of the staff are all unsurpassed.
It has such a laid-back, easy going feel to it. So relaxing.
I've eaten in five star restaurants the world I we and this place can hold it's own with any of them.
Don't take my word for it, book a table now.

Not sure I should be writing this, it might encourage people to go, meaning we may not get in when we want, but got to do this.
The Kings Grill is absolutely superb.
The staff were extremely knowledgeable about the specials, they ensured all requests were carried out to perfection, the food was different class, the steaks tender and very tasty. My Rabbit starter was different but wonderful, the Lamb soft and succulent, the duck was cooked to perfection.
Obviously you see the waiters and Greg, but spare a thought for the kitchen staff, they deserve all this praise as well...... FANTASTIC.
Six of us ate there and not one of us had anything bad or poor to say about any of the food, we all had something different so the full menu was "tested".
End of the evening, I had to compliment Greg on his superb selection of dishes, waiters and chefs.
My wife's birthday meal was a total success all down to the staff at the Kings Grill.
We will definitely be back, all the way from Leeds. A trip well worth it.
Took quite a while for the food to arrive, food was however very nice. I had the seabass whilst other family had simple burger etc. Enjoyed very much. One guest had the tomato penne pasta. This portion was huge and was far too much. A lot of food was left on her plate. Otherwise recommend, will go back.
The food was good but would have liked say onion rings with the £20 steak only got 3 cherry tomatoes and one small field mushroom. Chips were included but for the money that std with a steak. Staff were very helpful and friendly service.
Very nice, great atmosphere and food. Great selection of drinks and friendly attentive staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to celebrate an occasion. Thumbs up from me! 👍🏽
