We went for a family meal one Saturday evening then returned on Thursday with Grandma! The menu is constantly evolving with a full board of hand made Specials, well worth the price. It's become our favourite local (to us) place to eat out!

Great place with really good food and friendly staff. Had sunday lunch there and was lovely. Enough to fill with little waste but advise you to book as it can be busy. Outside has a lovely view of the river.

Met up with friends for lunch, first visit to this pub. Not too busy when we arrived at 1pm, but got busier. Good selection on menu to choose from, good fish and chips, gammon ham and chips and the chicken burger. Good place to visit for lunch.

We visited every night during our stay We ate 2 nights and had a few drink the others after a long day discovering. We were stopping at Notter mill country park which I will review separately Don't usually visit the same place more than once for food but I liked it here We found the owners and staff to be really friendly, nothing was too much trouble, made us and our little dog welcome Claire who runs the pub told us of nice places to visit and showed us photos of the place during the floods of 18 months ago All the food is homemade and delicious , portion sizes were big and prices are cheap in my opinion. Starters were so big we shared one between us Definitely going back next year !!! See the pics of the awesome food Footnote / I dont think they do rooms to stay in , hence no rating

Absolutely beautiful food at a very reasonable price considering the quality! Staff were lovely with a good sense of humour and the beer was well looked after, you could tell that the lines were kept clean and it was stored well. Overall loved the place and will definitely be returning.

An absolutely delightful pub with a great choice of food on the menu. I had gammon and my husband had the bacon and cheese steak burger. Good size portions and the service was great. A dog friendly pub. Toilets were really clean. The whole pub was tastefully decorated.

Had a great meal here. From walking through the door the landlady was pleasant and very helpful. One of the great things is they are very dog friendly as we visited with our little old Dachshund in his pushchair and he was made welcome as much as we were. Food was fantastic and very plentiful.

Chanced across this pub when returning home from day trip and so glad we popped in. Lovely friendly venue on the River Lynher with plenty of seating both in and out doors. Nice selection of beers/drinks and really friendly staff. Best bit is the food, which whilst being traditional pub grub is all home made and proper tasty.

A quaint Public House set in beautiful surroundings adjacent to a small river. They provide first class gourmet food and provide great customer service. There is a large outdoor seating area with comfortable rattan style chairs and tables with parasols very welcoming for both families and adults.

Warm welcome from the Inn's host, Claire. Great food with plenty of choice, excellent service & good value. Venue spotlessly clean with equally beautifully clean toilets. We ate inside, although there is a garden area with elegant outdoor furniture to eat outside, with pretty views of river running alongside Inn. Inside is just as elegant. Waitresses very friendly & efficient. Some family members had rustic crab baguette, others had steak burger/cheese/bacon (served with onion rings, coleslaw & chips). We were so impressed, we plan to return again soon with more family. Thank you Claire. (For nature lovers, the river's edge is a favourite for dragonflies; saw 2 today, beautiful☺).
