We just had a lovely Sunday roast here, there aren't many places I can say that about! I am usually disappointed when I go out for roast dinner, not here though! The food was really, really good- all home cooked and fresh, tasted great! The staff were very friendly and accommodating too, we will de
My wife and I just wanted few days away, nothing wrong with hotel's but they are all the same after a while so we picked this pub. Quiet country location, old oak beams abound, good check in very friendly and efficient. Room is basic but large by bed (Emma) great sleep, wonderful shower, all soft wa
Had a fantastic meal here. Kim was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended the specials. The fish n chips had such an amazing delicate batter and cooked to perfection. Hubby had the steak which was also cooked to perfection Kim bought Dev ( the chef ) out to meet us and it was such a plea
Booked an evening meal and it was absolutely fantastic whilst holidaying in Callington. Everyone in our family enjoyed their meal and desert. Even for our 7 person fam nothing was an issue for service, although I would constructively suggest another or bigger pizza oven.
We had dinner as a table of 12 for my birthday. Staff were really lovely, food was cooked to order so we didnt mind waiting although it came out within half an hour. Food was yummy all round. We had a varied selection of the menu including childrens meals and it was all good. Will definitely be back

Had a loverly evening meal, was busy with bookings (2 very large parties) but still managed to serve us in a reasonable time. Service was great and the food very tasty, though best if you like your veg on the "crunchy" side. I can recommend the mushroom pie, very tasty, and the kids fish and chips i
Brilliant one night stopover for ferry. A bit out of town but well worth the extra 10 minute drive. Food, service all excellent. Room has all you need and complimentart coffee and tea.
Came in on the off chance ... we were later than lunch time. The lady who served us was rushed off her feet, but made us feel so welcome. The food was good and the fire was warm! This was May 2023 and it was pouring down outside. Really nice atmosphere.
Having just moved to the area, we love looking for great places to eat, and this is a great place, food awesome, service friendly, and inviting. We will be back!!
Had an early evening meal for family of 4 today, polite friendly attentive staff, all meals were great but the monkfish curry was exceptional...one of the tastiest Curry's I've eaten anywhere...thank you for a great meal.
Amazing food, my other half quoted “best roast I’ve ever had”.
