We went to Heskyn Mill for our tour group's final dinner. It was well worth it. The host and staff were very friendly and efficient. All the dishes were well presented and very tasty. Nobody complained. I had the smoked salmon with a nice slice of warm sodabread, slow cooked brisket with a lovely sa
My fiancé and I came here for a three course meal and it was definitely an excellent choice. Very delicious food in an interesting historic setting, with the intact mill surrounding us. I had the crab cocktail, slow cooked beef brisket, and apple berry crumble for dessert. Really quite faultless. My
Simply superb. Just come back from a lovely 3 course meal for my partners birthday. Couldn't fault the food or the service at all. Highly reccommend this to anyone looking for a special meal. Varied selection on menu which changes daily and choice of options for vegans.
We had a lovely meal here. The crab cocktail was especially good as a starter. All of the food was excellent and sourced locally. There is a great selection of craft beers, we didn't have wine. The service was friendly and spot on, no upselling etc. Family run and I recommend this 👌 to all. You even
Fantastic food and experience. The food here is fresh locally sourced produce, the beef being cooked to a soft perfection. Attentive and friendly staff create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. All housed within a beautiful old mill with original fixtures still visible adding to the conversation. W
On an Insight tour of Great Britain, this was the location for our end of tour dinner. The food was amazing as they use all locally sourced produce. Hats off to the chef she did a wonderful job for 40 hungry tourists.
Excellent location, food and service. Food was cooked to perfection. Very friendly owner who was very keen to impart historical facts about the building. Will definitely return again soon. Thank you
I enjoyed the food and great service! It's very hard to find, though!
Old water wheel mill converted to a very nice resturant. Mill components intact within the resturant provide a great atmosphere. The area and mill provide many photographic opportunities.
Fantastic service, stunningly beautiful building. From what I understand the menu changes daily, but we had the venison in quince sauce, and the pork tenderloin with an apple and tarragon sauce, both cooked superbly, the hassle back potatoes were fantastic and the vegetable selection was brilliant.
