Had a lovely afternoon tea with my niece - so good, so full afterwards. Highly recommend it for a treat like afternoon tea, or just to pop in for a drink (and some cake)

I found this wonderful place by googling on a map for coffee in Saltaire. Thanks goodness for the Internet. We loved the decor, the music, the service and especially the coffee and toast. We'll be back for cake another day!

Excellent service when I needed a last minute takeaway afternoon tea for my mum. I was unable to be there but arranged for a friend to pick it up. She only had a small window of time but the meal was ready for collection really quickly and they went out of their way to make it extra special. My mum and sister were cheered up after a major disappointment and really loved the light and fluffy lemon cup cakes.

Have been here many times since it opened and absolutely love it. On Sunday we went for the Mother's day afternoon tea and yet again it didn't disappoint. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere fantastic and the service superb. Special mention to the young man waiting on tables. He was professional, polite, smiley and an absolute credit! Thank you!

Was just passing through Saltaire and popped in for a cuppa. Can highly recommend the Jaffa cake luxury milk shake. Really lovely 50's themed cafe, the girls were dressed to suit the theme. What a beauty of a place and the cakes are fabulous too!! Will definitely call again when next in the area.

Loved it!! I was there with my fiancé and when I say he's awkward to cater for, I mean it. Yet the were able to give him exactly what he ordered (soya decaf cappuccino and a flourless cake) and FYI, the Creme Brulee coffee is to die for!

I spotted Jeanettes Cakery on a TV show, a few year ago, and I've been trying to get a table to sample their Cakery goodies. Finally, I managed to reserve a table for my girls and best friend. The soup was delicious and so were the cakes, and coffee too. The atmosphere was wonderful.

Today was my first visit and I can't wait to go back! The food was delicious, the choice was amazing, it took us forever to choose because everything sounded so good. The service was first class too. If you haven't been, you really need to!

We had the Love Potion which was a delicious latte with chai syrup and a special biscoff hot drink. Both were exceptional!

A special day meant being taken out and treated to lunch and cake. Jeanette’s Cakery is influenced by the 1940s and 1950s. It is a really cute cafe decorated with bird wallpaper, bunting, fairy lights, flowers in Colman mustard tins and pale blue cushioned seating. There is even a jukebox. At the back of the cafe is the kitchen where all of the baking magic happens. All of the cakes are baked fresh daily at Jeanette’s Cakery. The food that is displayed is all covered and in glass cabinets which we always like to see. This cafe pays attention to all detail from the quality of food, displays, decor and friendly welcoming staff.

There were a few people in there already but there were still a good choice of tables to spare. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with bright smiles and warm welcomes and directed towards the high backed chairs. We were thrilled! Once we ordered we sat and admired our surroundings. The place is covered in bunting and paper chains, decorated to the tastes of Cath Kidston, with cute little features dotted here there and everywhere. Cute cloth napkins and mismatch cutlery.  Flowers in hand decorated jam jars.  On the menu there are choices of light snacks, sandwiches and your standard tearoom cream teas and afternoon teas. My friend just wanted a coffee but I couldn't resist ordering an afternoon tea. My friend's coffee was supplied by Casa Espresso, they ordered a latte with an extra shot. They thought it was really smooth and loves that there is somewhere so local they can get a cup.... or three.

Lovely place that has a good lunchtime option for my 3 year old daughter. Yummy treats and cosy atmosphere. Great value for money (feels nicer than going to Costa!) Best candy cane mint hot chocolate I've ever had!

Beautiful retro tea room with cakes and pastries freshly baked every day. 40's and 50's music and staff dressed in the fashion of those times adds to the atmosphere. Really worth a visit..

Cake and tea were excellent. Theming was very nice with everything matching, only downside was the staff as they all had very somber expressions the whole time. A smile every now and again to match the jolly theming wouldn't have gone amiss.

The unicorn hot chocolate was novel, the flat white was well made and the ham and mustard sandwich was tasty but the entire bill could have been justified by the slice of chocolate orange Tiffin my wife and I shared just on its own. I've never had tiffin that good. It was the kind of cake you want to book a hotel room with and serenade with love songs. It had rich chocolate, raisins and biscuit but the real kicker was the inclusion of generous splodges of orange jelly, just like you get on a Jaffa Cake, except thicker and richer. I asked and everything is homemade by Jeanette, so I can only imagine how good the other cakes are. It's a cheerful, cosy little place too and the staff are friendly. Just be aware that there's a £10 minimum spend for card transactions (fyi my bill for the above was a very reasonable £10.45).
